The Willard Rooftop Lounge, Raleigh's Best Rooftop Bar of 2022 & 2023, offers signature craft cocktails and inspired bites with stunning views of downtown Raleigh.

The centerpiece of The Willard is the Large Terrace with panoramic views of the Raleigh skyline and dual-sided fireplace surrounded by comfortable, yet modern, seating. Heaters make our outdoor spaces comfortable year-round. Inside, a 22-seat bar is the focal point of the dining room, while Skyview Boardroom offers a unique dining experience for 6-12 guests.

The Willard’s cocktail menu playfully leans into Raleigh’s nickname as the City of Oaks, offering signature craft cocktails aged in oak barrels and cocktails where smoke is a key ingredient.

The seasonal food menu, crafted by Chef Kyle Teears, includes shareables like papas bravas and charcuterie, as well as salads, Flatbreads, and entrees like Cherokee Trout and Steak Frites.
Located on the 7th floor of the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown in the Glenwood South district.

This year, learn to craft stunning drinks at our Cocktails & Cuisine Class: A Taste of Japan at The Willard Rooftop on Saturday, January 25th Our skilled bartenders will demonstrate how to make three delicious cocktails inspired by Japanese mixology, and then you’ll get to enjoy the fruits of your labor paired with food, all while you take in the spectacular views from The Willard Rooftop. Class sizes are limited so purchase tickets now for $55 per person. We are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions at this event.

Gather your gals and pals for a new monthly evening of community, music, and philanthropy at The Willard Rooftop. Enjoy a live playlist of upbeat and empowering tunes from Raleigh’s own DJ Skylan as you sip on drink and food specials like $12 Espresso Martinis, $8 Pimento Jars and $4 Papas Bravas. Take in The Willard’s extraordinary views of the Oak City skyline and connect with friends old and new. The evening will support Designed for Joy, a non-profit that provides women in crisis with stability through immediate employment and support. Look forward to this new monthly event series, with each event supporting a different non-profit organization.

The food was amazing. The cocktails we had were tasting weird. Especially the Ginger one, it had expired milk aftertaste. We asked to change it, and unfortunately, we were charged for all 3 drinks. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

We paid for the NYE Experience ($125). All it seemed to get us was the buffet. All the tables where the band was playing were occupied, so really couldn’t take advantage of that. The bartenders were doing a great job of getting people served. $125’was a bit much to pay for what we got. $75/$100 would have been a reasonable price for what we got.

It was a great event, delicious and generous amounts of food. My only grievance was the choice of band. The choice of New Orleans jazz/Dixiland music did not agree with any of us, the tune was repetitive and was not mixed at all, we ended up leaving before mid night as the music became unbearable. A band that plays a variety of music would’ve been much more fun and appropriate for a New Years event

Great experience! Lots of fun and interesting people.Was always food around in different places.Band was good, played all styles of tunes.Price ok for new years.Would highly suggest! No assigned seats. Come early! Had a great time

Great New Year's Eve experience. Peter Lamb and the Wolves were excellent. The atmosphere was very nice, I appreciated the fact that it was busy but not jam packed. The food was good, the service excellent.

It was not great because it was supposed to start at eight, but when we arrive at 8:10, it was already full without table to sit and the entries were already out we could not hear the band because was in another space and there there weren’t any place to stay your seat to listen the band it was supposed to have a champagne for a toast at midnight, but they only serve a small plastic glass of champagne for each person so the price for that it is too high overall, I I would not come back next year

Def a cool spot for drinks and light food, needs more variety of food but overall nice spot with lovely scenery.

Marriot corporate needs to go in and teach these people how to set-up a buffet. Carrots and greenbeans were so doctored up trying to make them "gourmet", they didnt taste like green beans or carrots. Wrong serving utensils..use spoons instead of tongs. No ham glaze, gravy or sauces were available. Everything was overcooked and dried out. Desserts were literally 25 yards away, uncovered exposed to everyone walking by the entrance. Weird setup. Waiter came to table 1 time!! He knew he already recieved his tip. Will NEVER go back, nor recommend. My invitees said the same thing and very dissappointed.

We attended a Christmas Day Buffet Experience and sat outside. Two of the heaters were broken so we were cold as were some of the guests around us that complained. Main buffet had a decent selection, but there were only two desserts. Great views and ambience. Great service as well.
