   The service was great. The chicken Milanese was spectacular. The wedge salad was fresh and very tasty. The NC rainbow trout was less pleasing. The curry carrot spread was overpowering. Also the price point for one trout filet seemed excessive.

   Once again my wife and I were impressed with the Easter Buffet that Matt and his team put together for Easter. Food was great and service was tops. Would always recommend the Wilcox for either a holiday meal or a romantic dinner.

   We always enjoy our stays at Willcox. The food was delicious and our waiter Bruce was phenomenal. He was personable, knowledgeable, and on point when we needed anything. Our dinner experience was enhanced by his friendly personality. The Willcox should count themselves lucky to have him on their staff. Top notch food and service as always. Looking forward to our next stay.

   The Willcox is an old southern hotel and restaurant. The night we dined there we enjoyed the piano music in the lobby and our meal was delicious. The wine selection by the glass was very good. We recommend

   15 min for waitress to come to table. 30 min for drinks. 45 min for appetizers and 1 hour wait for our meal. It was a looong wait. Drinks were excellent. Lamb, halibut and Brussels sprouts were good. Cheers to the Chef!! Caesar salad was too fishy. Not good !

    It was a delight to have lunch at the Willcox Hotel in Aiken, SC. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. We sat out by the pool on their patio.  The tomato bisque was the best I have ever had. Homemade. My calamari was excellent. And the surroundings were gorgeous.
