The Wine Whisperer is a wine shop and bistro located in Richmond's Short Pump neighborhood. We speak wine and are passionate about sharing your new favorite bottle or glass with you!

Our wine bar is designed to offer an immersive experience to our guests. Let our knowledgeable staff help you learn about your palate and curate a flight of wine just for you! Look for a rotating by the glass list, craft beers, more whiskey than you imagined, and an expansive food menu built for wine pairing. The intimate dining room is a perfect spot for a casual glass with friends or that special occasion date. Look for weekly wine tastings, monthly classes, and other special events that are uniquely Whisperer!

Winesday Tastings at Whisperer

Join us each Wednesday night between 5 - 7:30 pm for our weekly Winesday tasting. Featuring Whisperer favorites and new additions to the line up, this tasting is a casual, drop in event. No tickets are needed in advance. Tickets are $20 at the door ($10 for Wine Club Members!) and no reservations are required. We’d love to see you at the tasting table!

Very change of pace restaurant with an interesting and outstanding menu. Each of our selections were excellent. Service was friendly and professional. The wine selections were varied and superb. Our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last.

We got wine flights chosen by our waiter and they were perfect! I’m not very well versed in wine amd it was exactly what I would have chosen if I knew what I was doing. The food was great too!

My second visit was just as good as the first. I enjoyed the experience of the wine flight being created individually for me and the food was excellent.

What a great little gem. We learned another location is in the works and we are excited about that. Our server was great and he put together a flight for each of us that we all enjoyed. The baked brie was delicious. We will be back!

We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the Dealers choice wine selections. It’s a fun way to try and discover new wines.

Love the ambiance, we were greeted with a glass of wine while we waited. Our server Ingrid was awesome, very knowledgeable of the wines and recommendations. Will definitely be going again.
