The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. We hope we do it well.

                                                Allettati da altre recensioni positive, noi purtroppo abbiamo trovato un ristorante angusto, chiassoso e poco accogliente. Siamo stati serviti sì, rapidamente, ma in stile fast food. Cozze non fresche, in salsa che avrebbe dovuto essere alla birra ma sembrava molto annacquata. Un classico ristorante da turisti. Non torneremo.

                                                Un ristorante di buon livello apprezzabile la cortesia dei camrieri e la qualità del cibo ha anche due sale che si possono utilizzare qundo si va in gruppo insomma una bella esperienza da consigliare bisogna dire che cmq la qualità si paga ma trovo che sia adeguato Giovanni

                                                Everything about Woolen Mills is just excellent. The ambience, the food, the service and overall atmosphere is just so good! Had a cozy evening here on a date night and really loved it!

                                                Lovely restaurant and atmosphere! My husband had the steak and I had the roast chicken. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious. We would recommend this spot to others!

                                                First, and most importantly, the food was great, the atmosphere was beautiful and fun, and the service was charming. However, the place was short-staffed; service took far longer than it should have and many balls were dropped. It was a shame because that one poor aspect colored the whole evening.
