Third and Main is a top-of-the-line steak house and tavern in historic Aurora, IN. From in house dry aging our steaks to carrying the largest selection of wagyu beef in the Midwest, we have it all. If steak isn't your favorite we also have a fresh seafood selection weekly with a full sushi and raw bar.

Located in one of the oldest operating taverns in Indiana, Third and Main carries on the historic traditions with an upscale menu in a casual atmosphere. Just a short drive from Cincinnati along the Ohio River, this family-owned and operated restaurant is a great place to get away from the bustle of city living.

Our 120 year old bar is fully-stocked with over 275 different bourbons, domestic, import and craft beers and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Stop in and have a seat at our 120 year old bar to see why Third and Main is a local Tri-State favorite.

We had a great meal. The ham and cheese grits are unique and delicious. Salmon and steak were cooked to perfection. Service was great. Very attentive.

We had a large group for dinner. Most of us had not dined before. Our reservation was on time, we were seated upstairs. It was nicely decorated and quiet. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. Though the stand outs were the beverage girls that kept everyone’s drinks full all night. Our party started with Mussels which were good and the bread service. The bread and ricotta was delicious, but I’m not sure worth the value. All the cocktails were awesome. Rum punch, margarita, red sour, and the apple drink were all great. Third and Main flight was so good, along with another couple trying the Taste of the World flight. All the steaks were cooked to perfect temperature. All in all, it was a great first visit. If we are ever back in that area, we would definitely stop back by!

Food was very good! I really enjoyed my pasta dish! Our waiter wasn't as friendly, helpful or informative as one would expect. It was our anniversary, which I noted on my reservation, since it was asked and that was not mentioned. By no means was I expecting anything free, but if asked whether or not we were celebrating anything... well then.... mention it. We waited with empty beverage glasses at one point. AND, It was very disappointing having a view of many many cobwebs in and around the inside of the window. This is a restaurant that has hundreds of dollars meals on the menu.

We had a large group of 10 but service was still great! Everyone enjoyed their food, steaks were excellent!

The menu at the restaurant excluded several items ( soup , appetizers, meal items ) that were included on the website . We were told that the Chef had removed these items for a special Holiday menu . Unfortunately the items removed were items we had chosen for our meal . Service and Food were fine although overpriced. If you are a steak or prime rib fan with an unlimited budget 3rd and Main is the restaurant for you.

Love this place! Everytime we go it is exceptional and the food is amazing! Always get the wagyu and never disappoints!

Good food, poor service. Food not delivered in order. Multiple times to request items. Coffee delivered cold with no spoon, had to use the fork handle to stir. High end food and price with low end service.
