Located in the historic village of Roslyn, and overlooking Gerry Park and the Roslyn Duck Pond, thyme has a harmonious approach to food which embraces wholesome ingredients with diligent preparation. Thyme is a hidden gem tucked away in the village of Roslyn. We had dinner there last night and the food was exceptionally good. I had red snapper on black squid ink pasta with asparagus and a lobster sauce. Possibly the best snapper I've ever had. My husband had the skirt steak which arrived medium well as ordered (he generally is served meat that is too rare). He commented that it was very good. We had an appetizer of fried calamari which was good but could have been larger. The apple tart desert was very good. The only complaint was that my husband's scotch and soda was light on the scotch, but my gin and tonic was as expected. Thyme is a small, cozy place overlooking the Roslyn pond. It is very nicely decorated for the holidays. I've had lunch there and I also recommend it.

The portions are way too big. I ordered the eggs benedict Thyme, and in addition to the eggs, cheese, and ham, there were two huge pieces of potato pie that I never touched. My friend's plate was equally huge, and the dessert was enough for 4 people. The tables were so close together that we had a hard time staying focused on our conversation.

The setting is lovely with a view of the pond. Brunch options were plentiful and nicely presented. The noise level was extremely loud, so consider that if you’re looking for quiet conversation.

Lovely intimate space with very attentive wait staff. We sat upstairs; the live music (singing/guitar) next to the bar downstairs was really nice and not too loud for conversation. Great for a date night. We had the calamari appetizer, seared tuna bowl, and butternut squash ravioli — all were excellent.

We had another excellent meal with friends at Thyme. As usual, we were seated when we arrived. Our server greater us quickly. Since we’re seated quickly the restaurant was not full, but it quickly filled up and the noise got louder. Since the tables are small, we could hear each other being focused. The meal was prepared perfectly and it was tasty and delicious. We all enjoyed our meals very much. It was a good night with delicious food and great friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the first time not having Thanksgiving dinner at home, Thyme was the perfect choice! The food was excellent! Service was excellent! They were very attentive to a specific food allergy they two people in our party had, so a great time was had by all.
