The staff was friendly, courteous, providing prompt service throughout this visit. Food was excellent. Entertainment: Outstanding. Sunday brunch highly recommended. We will be there again!

Went with an Opentable reservation and they said that because it was Mardi Gras they weren’t supposed to have any reservations. Not sure how that was my fault nor how I would know that prior. I made the reservation about a month ago. So they made us wait for a table and I said okay fine. The manager then approached me and basically berated me and told me that I had to wait despite having a reservation. I told him I already had spoken to the front person and understood. He continued to scold me and appeared angry that I still wanted to keep my reservation and got all in my face about me saying they had to honor their open table reservation. Like how is this person the manager? Then I randomly was approached by a waiter who asked me what I was drinking. I told her it was beer. She said it appeared darker than what I ordered and that’s why she asked. She wasn’t our waiter so that was weird and it made me wonder whether something was put in my drink. Very strange and honestly if it wasn’t for our nice server I would be livid. It was a bad experience.

We do not take reservations on Mardi Gras due to the high volume of guests, and we apologize for any confusion regarding OpenTable. It sounds like there was some miscommunication, and we’re sorry that it affected your experience. That being said, our team is always focused on ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests, and we would never compromise that. We’re glad to hear that your server provided great service and hope you’ll consider giving us another try on a less hectic day for the full Tibby’s experience.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The whole experience was marred by a DJ who played music that was way too loud and did not match the environment of the restaurant. If it is a New Orleans themed restaurant, have the music promote that theme, instead of dance music and Usher playing at a volume where I could not hear my dinner companion talking. It’s a restaurant not a club.

Had reservations and took a long time to set up table. Service was ok. Person who delivered food told us (with poor attitude) to ask the server when we requested condiments.
