The hostess was great. We had requested a booth and she had one waiting for us. The waitress was OK, but hurried. When my wine came, there was a large stain, like the edge of the glass had been dipped in something. The wine was replaced. The Crab and Artichoke appetizer was OK, but the brown color was offputting and the pita chips were commercial pita crisps. My wife's Shrimp Scampi, which should be served with a light wine sauce, came with a gluey sauce that had no taste of wine or garlic. She ate about a third of it, and while the waitress asked if she wanted to take it with her, she didn't ask if there wasa a problem with the dish. My wife ordered a hot chocolate and chocolate mint liquer drink for dessert, and swore that there swas nothing but hot chocolate in it. The glass cup was also sticky. All in all, not a great experience, given the good reviews the restaurant had received.

Excellent food and wait staff! Brian is an excellent bartender/waiter!! He keeps an eye on everything and makes sure you have what you need to enjoy a wonderful dinner out. Tidewater Grill never disappoints!!

While wife was working one Sunday, I looked up local restaurants to have dinner. Lo and behold I found Tidewater, that was almost 3 years ago and the rest is history! The staff are always so accommodating attentive and friendly and the food is always spot on!! They offer so many delicious dishes where you can’t go wrong anytime. The drinks are so refreshing too! Our favorite place to go at least once a month or when family is in town.

We split the Wednesday night shrimp dinner, and added a salad each. Everything was perfectly cooked and hot /cold when it arrived. Brandy did a great job as usual. One of our favorite places to eat. Thanks again Sarah and Bryan!!!

Great locals place. Small restaurant but very friendly, attentive wait staff. Nothing fancy. Just good food!

We perused the menu before we arrived and made our choices. We arrived to find additional specials and a three course November special menu that changed our minds! All 4 of us ordered from it. It included a selection of appetizers, entrees and dessert. The seafood bisque was delicious as was the pork belly and fried green tomatoes. 3 of us order cheeseburgers that were uniquely seasoned and so good especially accompanied by fresh cut fries! The Alfredo with shrimp was very good as well! We also sampled each other’s desserts, gooey brownie a la mode, blueberry cobbler a la mode and peanut butter pie—all made in house! To die for!! We had a team of servers who were all very attentive and friendly. Always a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5 star) experience at Tidewater
