   Very poor Easter brunch experience. I made the reservation and confirmed a week before for an inside table for 7, however our table was outside by the pool with kids playing. The service was incredibly slow, waited 40 min to get all drinks (2 wines, a few sodas and 1 cocktail) and order lunch, it wasn’t until we flagged the waiter down to order that we were taken care of. When the food arrived the Wagyu steak was chewy, could barely get a knife through it and more than half the fries were cold and soggy. The breakfast plate contained potatoes, eggs, ham and Texas toast. The potatoes were terrible and bland, as was the toast. We ordered two appetizers, ceviche and Brussels sprouts; the only good thing was the ceviche and the wine. Took our party over 2 hours from when we sat down to getting our check, but had to chase down the manager to give her our payment. When we left around 4pm the restaurant only had a few tables and a lot of staff, no excuse for the poor service.

   Beautiful venue, solid quality food. Only negative was service & that was simply because of the number of tables being covered by our server - it was Easter Sunday.

   Easter brunch was our first time to visit Camp Lucy and its signature restaurant Tillie’s. Attentive service. All in all a positive experience and we will come back. Rather hard to believe we hadn’t heard of it before. Worth the drive from Austin.

   Beautiful place, but service was a huge letdown. It wasn’t busy yet our appetizers took over an hour and a half to come and they were still wrong. Same thing happened with our food.

   Tillie’s is very special—a beautiful restaurant at the end of a winding path in the hill country. Good food. Super service and ambience!

   We have always enjoyed our time at Tillie’s. However, last night’s meal was not as outstanding as usual. While the cocktails and burrata were very good, the other items were not up to par for Tillie’s. The prawns were bland, redfish over cooked, steak okay, and chocolate nostalgia ordinary. Our bill was over $300 and not worth it this time. We are hoping it was just an off night, as Tillie’s has never disappointed before. We will definitely be back because of past experiences and hopefully can write a raving review again.

   The physical grounds and structure make Tillies a standout. This was our 3rd time there with guests. Service was good. Food - some of it was great - we did all the shareables and 2 entrees with 5 people so we got to taste everything. Fantastic: risotto, brussels sprouts, potatoes. Decent: prawns and lamb meatballs (thought undersalted). Gem salad was not good - soggy and the little fried balls of dough didn't cut it. Of the 2 entrees - short ribs were outstanding but the duck was underwhelming. I would still return because of the ambiance but hope the food strives to continue to improve.

   Food was very good and service was too. Food potions were a bit small for the price. Ambiance can’t be beat. We had an enjoyable experience.
