Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

Our waiter was nice and the place is clean and inviting. However they forgot 2 orders. Also the food was mediocre. The desserts were great however the kids burger was medium rare and so was the steak both not what was ordered. The kids pizza was burnt. So neither kid ate their food. It would take a lot of thought to decide to return back

Once again Timber has proved to be my favorite brunch spot in Omaha. I love being greeted by the warm wood fire smell. The food and drink are truly outstanding. I had the Croque and La Grande Paris, a delightful cocktail consisting of pomegranate, grapefruit and vodka. Our server was attentive. It can be a bit loud at times depending on where you are seated. But all in all 10/10.

On my second trip, I was not disappointed great food at a reasonable price and again the service awesome. Highly recommend this as a go to place to enjoy some good food and friendly staff.

Wonderful service from start to finish. Appetizers and drinks were great. Steak and Gnocchi entrees were cooked very well. However the special wood fired beef Wellington was very dry and over cooked.

Their food is very unique and fabulous!! What we had: au Poive steak bites appetizer, Cubano, wedge salad and Lamb burger. Every bit - just awesome!!! Carson is a great waiter and the atmosphere is calming, reminds you of Colorado with the Woodfire smell and sort of feel of a lodge. We’ve eaten outside during the summer and that is a nice touch too. We love this place and the friendly employees too, clean, lots to offer on the menu and top notch. See if you like the Bloody Mary’s - we kind of don’t, but it is housemade & how some do. There is a good cucumber infused drink on the bar though that is good on its own.

Timber is a great place to eat. Never fails to impress whether it be from the service to the entree. Great food, great staff, and a wonderful environment to share a meal. This is a must try!

I was on a work trip and this place was recommended by the customer I’m working with. Two of us dined and had the following: appetizers-focaccia with truffle butter (Delicious!), Brussel Sprouts with pork belly, Entrees-sirloin with roasted veggies and BBQ Roasted Chicken pizza. All was so delicious! I highly recommend and will definitely come back when I’m in town. Will also recommend to anyone who is in the area. A definite Gem find!
