Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

We opted for appetizers Caesar salad and soup. Everything was delicious. The steak bites, however, were a bit spicy due to the peppercorn rub. We had the same waiter from a prior visit and he was excellent don’t remember his name but he’s been there about eight years. Sat in one of the back rooms so it was nice and quiet. Highly recommend for dinner, lunch and brunch.

NYE dinner was great! We had an Old fashion and a grapefruit drink. Both were great! We started off dinner with the lamb appetizer, which was delicious and quite filling. We shared a medium rare prime rib, a bit overcooked, but flavorful. The steak came with double baked potato. The service was adequate, as is was very busy. Great meal for the price.

We opted for an early dinner at Timber Bistro on New Year’s Eve to beat the rush. We arrived just before the rush. Perfect timing, for us. The Service was excellent for such a busy evening, outside of a snarky greeter who let us know that there was a 1-1/2 hour limit per table. We ordered off the New Year’s menu for the most part. Seafood Appetizers, Durum Focaccia, Prohibition Chicken and Prime Rib. I’m going to chalk up the rating for the food preparation due to the busy night. The Service to an All Hands on Deck staffing plan and the ambiance because you will have to hunt long and hard to beat it. The overall experience was fine and we appreciated their being open. Maybe next time I will stick to our favorites to avoid the slight disappointment.

Nice in-between palce. Not Applebees but not Mahagonys either. They seem to do what they offer very well at a reasonable price.

We dined here for Xmas Eve and it’s was the perfect spot. The environment is cozy and quiet so you can have a conversation with your whole table. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. I recommend the salmon and steaks. We were also excited to see some traditional dishes from past Xmas eves with our grandma under the special Xmas Eve selections. My only constructive feedback was the courses were served too close together but it was a busy night for them.
