Atmosfera affascinante

Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

My steak was cold and extremely undercooked. It was raw (purple). The fries it came with were also extremely cold and stale. The table beside us sat down 20 minutes after us and were done eating by the time I got my steak back. This all happened on Valentine’s Day, you’d think they would have their s*** together for this holiday.

We had the Valentines Meal $65 per person. It included an appetizer, entree, and desert. The appetizers were both very good. My wife had a Delmonico Steak, I had Scallops. The steak was cooked as ordered, but boy was it tough. For every bite I took, I had to spit out a small ball of gristle that was uneditable. It was only 8oz, but I just couldn’t bring myself to eat it all. On top of that, the steak was way under-seasoned, which is a rookie mistake, and other than the wood fire, it was tasteless and tough. I thought the scallops were small and tasted fishy. We had cheesecake and ice cream with pastry for dessert, both very good. We ended up spending around $180.00 for two. For me the entrees we pretty bad, which means we paid nearly $200 for appetizers and dessert. I ordered Iced Tea, expected it to be unsweetened and cold. What came was some kind of tropical tea that had a sweat like flavor and little to no ice. I’d go back, but for the wood fired pizza or the ribs, which looked amazing. I recommend that if you want fine steak and seafood, go to a fine dining restaurant not a bistro.

Always a delicious meal with great service. Today, was a special Valentine’s menu and it didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the scallops and Wagyu Denver steak! Desserts were scrumptious (berry cheesecake and raspberry beignets with ice cream and caramel sauce). Love this restaurant. We were also pleasantly surprised to see Steven again as our server. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

They had their Valentines menu which was limited. Wish I knew before I booked on Thursday.

The menu has a nice variety to chose from and our meal was excellent. The service was great and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Our waiter was very pushy about a French toast appetizer. Our group agreed to get this appetizer, when it was brought out it was 2 full entrees of French toast. We all felt a little tricked and he did it just to raise the bill

Warm board and Wellington delicious as usual. Woodfired pizza was good. It could have even got a little char on the crust and been great for me. Parking was congested on a Friday evening. Fireplace was warm and comforting.

Outstanding food, drinks, service! Only issue was wait time - we had reservations and waited 15 minutes to be seated-- on Thursday evening. Kind of a surprise.
