A full service family restaurant, deli and convenience store that serves the best quality food and crab cakes and beverage in the Greater Baltimore Washington area in a clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with a staff dedicated to providing knowledgeable, memorable and happy service to our customers. We are dedicated to being an active and giving member of the community.

Timbuktu serves lunch and dinner daily and offers dine in, carry out and banquet catering. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant offers an array of appetizers, soups, salads, entrées, sandwiches, burgers, Southwest fare, pasta and seafood on the menu.

This is my first and last time eating at this resort. I made reservations 2 days in advance, and my wife and I were seated in a back room, which looks like it was a banquet room. There was food all over the floors and tables that were previously eaten at were not cleaned and remained that way the entire time I was there. I ordered calamari at an appetizer, and it was sitting in a puddle of oil. The waiter took looked at it and said it looked extremely nasty and8 removed it from the table. I ordered the Ribeye steak, which i was told it was a 20oz steak but looked like a 6oz steak I asked for it to be cooked medium well however half the steak was well done and the other half was medium. My wife ordered the broiled seafood plater. It looked like it was good, but she said it was okay but not worth the money. Our waiter was good even though midway through our meal, he was pulled to work in the main dining room area. I had to find another waiter to get our check this is because where we were sitting in this back room. If you go to this restaurant don't look forward to enjoying the experience.

Wait, time was good. Our waiter Charles was great! Our party enjoyed the food. Food came out nice and hot! Enjoyable

We had a reservation for 6 pm. We arrived at 5:45 pm and we were asked to wait. We weren't seated for almost half hour. We were seated in the bar by the kitchen door 😔 very disappointed. Food took almost an hour. Steak was overcooked. Never got side's for the steak entree. We're not drinkers and we're looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. We haven't been to this restaurant since we moved 20 years ago! Sadly we won't be back. Too expensive, long wait, and we're seated in the back room next to a table with small children running around the restaurant for over an hour.

An area of the restaurant had no heat so we were seated at a smaller table near the bar. It was difficult to have the plates, etc on such a small table. Server (Charlotte) was amazing! Food was amazing and portions were plentiful)!!

1st visit for lunch and everything was delicious 😋 and I cannot wait to get back to Timbuktu to taste the rest of their selections. My server was very friendly and very helpful with her suggestions. It was a very good experience.

Our waiter, Charles, was outstanding. He was there when needed without prompting and let us conduct a business meeting without being interrupted. Crab cakes were very good.

Classic Seafood restaurant with authentic dishes. Attentive service and great prices. Staff was very courteous, and the food was served in a timely manner. Well worth the hour drive to get there.
