Not worth a visit unfortunately- apparently it used to be much better but has changed hands. Service was particularly slow and uncaring, food was average

Disappointed with our most recent visit to Tokova. We've been before and had amazing food and delicious wine to go with it, cooked and served by a mother/daughter team from the Basque country who were lovely and very attentive. This time round - the food lacked flavour, was undercooked and under seasoned, the red wine was freezing cold, and the service was average. The food isn't cheap - and while we were happy to pay more when the quality was excellent, it felt like a bit of a punch to the stomach to pay so much for sub-standard food. Hopefully the mother & daughter team are just on holiday!

Been here several times. Love the food. Love the vibe in Tooting Market. The manager / proprietor is always there, always remembers us (although our visits are not that frequent as we don't live that locally) and is super friendly. It's our venue of choice for taking friends to.

The food was all delicious, and we tried most things on the menu. Service was excellent despite the staff being very busy. They took time to explain all the dishes to us and were very friendly.

Very Authentic tapas with superb flavours and great friendly service. Good ambience in Tooting market and great if you enjoy sharing plates.

I love Tokova. The Basque tapas menu is largely unchanging but flawlessly executed, well chosen, delicious things. The owner is delightful, friendly, and a tour-de-force, with an adorable tiny dog (absent Fri and Sat, as the market environment is a bit too busy for free-range tiny dogs then) Everything on the menu is lovely, but the butters and the celeriac punch well above their weight. Book for peak nights or larger groups, but do go. Wine and beer list is short but great.

Lovely people but not enough staff, food came slowly and sporadically it was delicious when it did arrive.

Nice dishes but very slow service, our drinks didn’t come for 30 minutes and our first dish wasn’t served until an hour after we ordered. The dishes came out slowly after that too, overall it took us 2 and a half hours to eat here, ordering 5 dishes…
