   Four of us enjoyed a wonderful meal. Highlights included the scallops and the octopus but every plate was scraped clean. Food came out at the perfect rate, with new dishes appearing just as we finished the previous ones. Friendly service and ambience. Definitely the best tapas I’ve had in London, and the fact that it’s a converted chippy does somehow help create an authentic tapas bar vibe. Worth knowing that they only do 3 types of wine - red, white and rose. We had the red and the white which were both perfectly quaffable. I plan to return soon.

   Service is poor, it felt like they were doing you a favour by willing to serve you. The food was delicious but the seating is also very cramped.

   We had a 18:30 booking and on arrival were led through a packed front area - the old fish & chip shop - to the back room with small tables and rather low stools. Water arrived instantly and then we ordered drinks, coke and beer (the latter cheaper than most and very good Estrella). We ordered six dishes - contrary to one reviewer, they came in pairs at nicely spaced intervals - essential given the table size. All were very tasty, I particularly enjoyed the hake. Service was very efficient and unobtrusive. Overall a good experience and we will certainly go again.

   We were so excited to come but the service was terrible and the dining area smelled like the loo. The food was good but the overall experience was disappointing.

    Fantastic food and some great recommendations from the team. A little tight on the bar, but the plates are small and get cleared quickly. Highly recommend.
