   We had a great table, the musician was amazing and played a wonderful repertoire of songs. The service was excellent, timely, and personable. The greeters were very engaging and polite. The star of the evening was the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Filet Salad. OK…the entire evening was a great experience. I highly recommend the Tommy Bahama Restaurant in Plano!

   An exceptional experience from the beginning to the end . The hosts were welcoming and accommodating as they found us a table on the patio. Our waitress was knowledgeable and efficient. Wonderful hospitality! All of our food was delicious. We truly enjoyed our experience! Can’t wait to come back !

   Always great food. I think my waiter (the manager?) was under the influence… when the waiter didn't check in after our main was delivered (to order drinks but even just to check if the food was ok) I asked the waiter at the next table if he could fetch our waiter, he snobbishly sushed me at first (can you believe that?!) before begrudgingly approaching me. The second time I’ve visited and I really do love the food and the live music but the staff here need some training… which I think could explain why both times the dining room has been surprisingly empty.

   Always, always have a great time here. This is a well-run spot. The manager/GM is constantly checking in on guests and staff, and the servers and hostesses are the brightest and kindest in DFW. The food is excellent, the live music perfectly matches the relaxed, getaway-style mood. This is the favorite stop for my daughter and me when we are out. The girls here are so sweet to her!

   My party of three arrived at 8:15 PM and unfortunately received noticeably less attentive service. Our server, AnnaBella, was primarily focused on a larger party, which left our experience feeling secondary. Additionally, I visited to redeem my birthday reward, yet my birthday was not acknowledged in any way. This was disappointing, as I had expected a more celebratory experience. While I understand the demands of a busy service, every guest deserves attentive and thoughtful service. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency, and I look forward to a better experience next time.

   We had the pleasure of dining at Tommy Bahama’s restaurant for the first time last weekend, and we’re already counting down the days until we can go back! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a tropical paradise—an atmosphere that’s both elegant and effortlessly relaxing. The hospitality is top-notch. From management to the waitstaff and bartenders, every team member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We indulged in coconut shrimp (now we understand why it’s a fan favorite), ahi tuna tacos, a crab cake with zero filler, shrimp and crab pasta, ribs, gumbo, and the All-American burger. Every dish was a hit, but my son is still raving about that burger! Somehow, we managed to save room for dessert—and we’re so glad we did. The Key lime pie, piña colada cake, and malted chocolate pie were the perfect sweet endings to an unforgettable meal. If you haven’t been to Tommy Bahama’s yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!
