Inspired by Kansas City’s legendary political figure, Tom Pendergast, Tom's Town Distilling Co. blends history and innovation in every glass. Our tasting room reimagines classic prohibition cocktails with a contemporary twist, featuring our award-winning spirits: Double Oaked Bourbon, Pendergast’s Royal Gold Bourbon, Double Grain Vodka, Botanical Gin, Barreled Gin, and Straight Rye Whiskey. Every cocktail, crafted by our expert mixologist, JT, is a bold, creative expression of flavor.

Join us in our inviting tasting room or explore our seasonal, revolving speakeasy downstairs for a truly unique experience. Walk-ins are welcome for both spaces if available, but reservations are encouraged. Scroll down to 'Experiences' if you would like to book our speakeasy.

If you’re interested in bringing a larger group but don’t need a private room, contact us at 816-308-2131. We cannot split checks by item, but multiple cards are accepted. Must be 21+ to enter the Tasting Room.

Tinsel Town at Tom's Town! Nov 15th-Dec 30th, step into our 2 story wonderland. Enjoy festive craft cocktails, cozy decor and holiday cheer! HOURS: M-TH 4-10pm, F 4-12am SA 12-12am Su 4-8pm. $5 cover per person will be added to your bill. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Reservations are recommended & must be made Online. To allow everyone a chance to enjoy a 2-hour time limit will be enforced. Parties 6 or more: A credit card is required to hold your reservation. All guests must be on one check, and 20% auto-gratuity will be applied to your bill. If you do not arrive within 15 mins of your reservation a $5 charge per person will be applied. Gather your holiday crew and join us at Tinsel Town for an unforgettable season.

Bar is decked out for the holidays creating a fun and festive atmosphere. The holiday cocktails were creative and delicious. The steak frites was excellent - perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely will go again.

We loved Tinsel Town, the holiday speakeasy pop up bar! Fun and festive decor, delicious themed cocktails, and a warm and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we hung out in the upstairs bar before leaving. Highly recommend!

We love Tom’s Town! The Pop Up Bar was fun! The drink menu names were cute and fun and delicious. The chips and onion dip was fantastic. The crab cake had just one cake on the plate and we were expecting maybe 2-3. The decorations were so great: Upstairs and downstairs.

I’ve been to Tom’s Town many times and I always have a great experience. I highly recommend the tour and their themed pop ups.

We had a chance to snag a table at the Halloween pop up in the basement at Tom’s Town, the Cloven Hoof. It was amazing as usual, it’s one of our favorite spooky traditions. The drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was amazing.

Fun decorations and drinks for Halloween! Pleasant hostess and server! We just wish that someone/somewhere would have let us know the kitchen closed at 8pm. It was nowhere in the reservation info, the website, no one told us until we heard another couple try to order. We would have stayed longer if we could have ordered food, or come earlier.

We had a wonderful experience at Tom’s Town. We arrived ahead of our reservations for the Cloven Hoof speakeasy so bellied up to the bar for our first drink. We e both had the bees knees with different choices in gin, and agreed that both were excellent drinks. The bartender was very good and sociable as well. We then went down the spooky staircase to our table in the Halloween bar The Cloven Hoof. Definitely a must if you’re a Halloween lover! Excellent decor and drinks were spot on! The hardest part is choosing which drink to have. Our server was great and very helpful. We were there too late in the evening for food but I’ve had it during other visits and it is definitely 5 star worthy. My friend is a big fan of gin and she loved all her drinks and the place in general. She said we NEED to come again the next time she’s in town. Thanks to Tom’s Town for a wonderful evening!
