For over 50 years, Tony’s has been Houston’s pinnacle of fine dining. Under Donna Vallone's leadership, Chef Kate McLean brings a vibrant twist, blending live-action presentations with meticulous attention to detail. The menu features house-made pasta, seasonal ingredients, and signature dishes like Flaming Salt Crust Snapper and the indulgent Battle Axe Course. Alongside caviar and tasting menus, Kate’s creations merge her free spirit with the formal tradition instilled by her mentor, Tony Vallone. A Houston native, Kate became Tony’s first female Executive Chef in 2013. After a brief hiatus exploring writing and co-hosting a podcast, she returned in 2022 as Executive Chef and Partner, continuing Tony’s legacy. Located near Greenway Plaza and The Galleria, Tony’s remains the destination for upscale dining, offering a curated spirits list, extensive wine selection, and unforgettable experiences.

Food was awesome but felt a little ignored. Didn’t explain the menu. Very extensive wine list but didn’t explain it at all

My husbands steak was way to rare. I had to send my mushrooms back and they lacked flavor. No one came to refill My water glass and had to ask several time and asked no less than 3 times for the check. We were forgotten about.

It was really SUPER expensive. I was so very shocked and disappinted. $1000.00 for 4 people. I knew when I went to get a glass of Champagne that used to be $23.00, was now $44.00. The whole bottle at Spec’s is $75.00. The ceasar salad was $88.00 for 4 people. The soufle was $85.00. We had two cocktails each. A bottle of wine for $165.00. We shared the foies gras, lamb, filet and duck. With spinach, asparagus and mashed potatoe sides. Just so sad and crazy out of control!! Not sure who they are catering to in this competitive market. Not happy with the new chef. There are much better places to eat that are better prices for what you get. For example for Thanksgiving I got a complete meal to go, at Etoile for 12 people for $290.00 Unfortunately, I will not be back.😢

We had a lovely time, and the food was both inventive and delicious. The cotton candy foie gras was a real treat!

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable and elegant lunch with close friends. Curtis took care of our every request. Don’t know why we don’t dine here more often!
