   We recently dined at Tori Blu. The highlight of the meal was the Osso Buco, which was absolutely delicious – perfectly tender and flavorful. The service was impeccable as well. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, adding a personal touch to our experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a delightful meal and excellent service!

   Tori Blue is an elegant, charming, and delicious restaurant in Lynchburg. Great menu, great staff, beautiful decor, and a wonderful environment with a nice European feel to it. Took my wife and her friend there for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint!

   Overall the food was nothing to write home about. Service was awful, we went for brunch. They had 2 servers for the 5-6 tables, and our waitress could not manage. Took forever to take our order and give us our bill, never checked in, and overall just didn’t do a good job. She also added an entire tables order to our table and didn’t notice. We had it on the bill and everything, mind you there were three people in our party so it should have been noticed considered it doubled our bill (added two entire extra entrees and drinks). The ambience was okay, it’s decorated well but still feels like a hotel restaurant. One person in our party was vegetarian and they gave her meat potatoes. We switched food so it was okay but overall I wouldn’t come back for the higher than average prices of food.

   So many positives about our experience! The menu is inspiring, the space is warm and welcoming and the service is friendly, solicitous and attentive. The food presentations are inviting and feature edible flora. The half chicken entree is without compare in this town, and I will order it again. The filet was very tasty and the sides were excellent. We'll look forward to future visits.

   Food overall was good but they were sorely understaffed so made for long wait times and not the best service. Management did however comp our meal which was very generous due to our experience. I will say I think the over head lights of dimmed some would create a better upscale environment. Felt with the table lamps and the bright overhead it felt too bright for an upscale restaurant. I also think in the colder months the exterior door should be locked and entrance moved to lobby entrance. Heard many complaining and we actually had to request to be moved due to how cold it was.

   We ate there on Feb 15 with a reservation. There were a lot of diners there. It took almost an hour before our drinks were delivered. Our waiter explained that there was only one bartender and that everyone was ordering a drink. We paid $98 for a 3 course meal. The appetizer (I think was advertised as shrimp cocktail) was breaded shrimp--it was not good. the main course of filet mignon was good but I think overall it was overpriced. I think the ad mentioned live music which I never heard. Out waiter was attentive but he had too many tables to tend. One person in my party did not have her 1st course delivered until after the main course was delivered. It was my first time there. It was disappointing, I will not go back.

   I was very excited to try this restaurant after our plans to Charlottesville changed. The ambiance was beautiful, bright, and inviting. We were greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen at the host’s stand and seated promptly. I was a bit disappointed because I had read there would be live music but there was none. I chose the Valentine menu options which came with 3 courses, chocolate dipped strawberries, and a glass of rose. I started with the fried shrimp which arrived at a temperature between warm and cold. Taste was fine with the sauce but would have been better if it was fresh. I ordered the lobster ravioli entree wish was OK…sauce was a bit much and too thick for my taste. My husband did not choose the Valentine options and received the bacon appetizer which was a little under cooked for his liking. He ordered the 16oz ribeye which he said was good. The asparagus and potato sides he had were good also. I ended up getting my dessert to go because the service of our waitress was very lacking. We waited for long spans of time for her to check on us; however we watched her attentiveness to the other tables surrounding us. The manager and another server ended up removing plates and helping get boxes to take our food home. The waitress came by to apologize for her busyness but at that point we were already ready to go and again, it didn’t seem that she was too busy for the other tables around us. I can’t say that I’ll return.

   My wife and I enjoyed the experience. 4.5 stars. The service was excellent, the environment was nice, and the food was really good. Definitely we will be back.
