   The food was pretty good but the experience was terrible and has declined significantly. We were seated at a small table directly under a speaker that was pushed up against the back of a curved booth so you had no space for your elbows and we were told we shouldn’t move our table away from the booth. The music was so loud I couldn’t hear anything and the music that was played was 2010s fraternity basement themed. No one wants to listen to the ying yang twins blasting through the speakers. I also had to ask the host for our waiter because no one came to help us. Additionally, the waitress we got did not provide good service. We were left for extended periods of time without being attended to. If you can’t accommodate diners (for space and/or service), you should not accept reservations.

   Honestly an incredible experience!! I was dining alone & got sat right by the kitchen at the bar (some people might hate that but as someone who loves food, this was special!) The food was delicious & the bar staff was LOVELY. I could have LICKED every bowl clean. Not to mention I thought the bill was going to be $$$ but for 3 dishes & a cocktail I was pleasantly surprised. Tuna crudo was insanely tasty .. I drank the remaining sauce. Empanadas were super crispy, had to be adventurous & try out lamb. The shrimp … SO good.

   Love the tapas at Toro since they allow you to taste so many amazing dishes! We especially loved the cheese flan, so wonderful!

   Had a hiccup with our reservation, but the hostess was doing her best, and took great care of us. Food was delicious! Would definitely return.

   The food was wonderful. We were well taken care of by the staff yet never felt overwhelmed by them. I particularly recommend the tomato bread and the salt cod croquette. Everything we ate was amazing.
