Currently open for lunch and dinner. Ristorante Tosca offers the finest in contemporary northern Italian cuisine. Tosca serves Italian cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients, using a creative approach that respects the great traditions of Tuscan gastronomy. Tosca combines modern style and elegance to create an intimate and comfortable setting.
Tosca implements a dress code and proper attire is required. We do not allow athletic wear, shorts, beach attire, tank tops, flip flops, or torn or excessively revealing clothing. We reserve the right to determine if a guest needs to adjust their attire before being seated.

Excellent dinner. Food beautifully prepared and presented. Service a bit harried but otherwise good. Overall, this is a place not to miss.

We always return to Tosca when we are in Washington. NEver fails to impress. Excellent selection of Italian wines by the glass Prosecco, Super Tuscan and Brunello . Gluten free pasta for my with with Bolognese (not even on the menu!) and the special hand made pasta stuffed with herbs and fish in the brown butter sauce. We sometimes eat here twice !

A terrific evening. The service was spot on. Rustam, our waiter, was simply outstanding. No rush, no pressure, excellent suggestion. His verbalized concern that our food choices would arrive timely was much appreciated. As for the food: the fish special, was special. The baked scallops, yum!! They served a wonderful lemon cake with fresh whipped cream to acknowledge one guest’s birthday day. Super chocolate mousse. The sorbet was the only slight disappointment in that the pistachio flavor was more like lime. The coconut and raspberry were perfect. A full 5 star recommendation

Noise was too loud for comfortable conversation. Service was abrupt and intrusive. Restaurant should look to Italy for pointers on unobtrusive but sublime service. Food was good. Not spectacular but well done. It’s a pretty place.

We have been going to Tosca for quite some time now, mostly for business lunches/dinners. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe. But what truly set this experience apart is the exceptional service, extraordinary food, and top-notch hospitality. The level of hospitality here is extraordinary. The team makes us feel like we were the most important guests in the restaurant. There was a personal touch in every interaction, and it was evident that they genuinely care about creating memorable dining experiences for their guests. We will definitely be visiting again.
