Terra restaurant is located at Tottington Manor which is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our South Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. To allow Afternoon Teas to be freshly prepared we require bookings to be made 48 hours in advance. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, savoury items and sweet treats coupled with your choice of coffees or our range of Hoogly Tea in the delightful surroundings of Tottington Manor. Enjoy the spectacular views in Summer or the roaring open fire in winter, afternoon tea is a delightful occasion at any time of year. A debit/credit card is required at the point of booking, Because Afternoon Teas are created fresh for each order any cancellations within 48hrs the full charge may be taken against the stored card.

Fabulous lunch. My husband and I hadn't booked a table for our lunch about three weeks ago and were lucky enough to have lunch which was delicious. Yesterday I took my Daughter for lunch and had to have the same as my previous visit It didn't dissapoint,it was delicious. Our Ridgeview bubbles and service was excellent.

The afternoon tea was excellent , but as for service and attentiveness was lacking. After we had been seated after we have been seated, the service was so slow and no one came over to see if we were alright all in all it was poor, poor poor

The Tottington team did a remarkable job to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE day. They catered for over 100 people, organised a talk, a fly past and a live band. The afternoon tea was excellent, all home made and delicious. They all worked extremely hard during the afternoon as a team. Nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was the owner and chef came and spoke to each table after we'd finished eating.

Lovely experience for VE Day celebrations! Afternoon tea was below par, however they were catering for large numbers (100+) so suspect this was a one-off on this occasion. The service was excellent and staff very attentive- couldn’t fault them!

An excellent VE DAY Afternoon Tea. Very good catering for all the dietary needs of our party: Pescatarian, Vegetarian and Vegan. Plentiful and delicious afternoon tea food.

Fabulous afternoon tea. Can highly recommend this. Beautiful venue, great service from a friendly and professional team. The food was outstanding, best scones ever. The complementary glass of English sparkling wine and birthday cake with sparkler for our birthday girl, was a lovely bonus surprise xxx
