Trani’s Dockside, is a new waterside restaurant launched by one of the port town’s best known restaurant families. The restaurant was able to hold a soft grand opening on May 16, the 98th anniversary of the opening of the original Trani’s Majestic Cafe that opened in 1925 in downtown San Pedro.

Went for my birthday and Trani’s did not disappoint. Love their appetizers/small plates; their cocktails are amazing. Slater was our server and he was friendly and attentive. We went early to avoid the progressively deafening noise level as the evening progresses, but that said, we will certainly be back.

Excellent choices of food. Food was very fresh, tasted absolutely amazing. Drinks very good as well. Dessert was the Grand Finale and was superberb. Staff very attentive and kind.

Calamari was the best I’ve ever eaten. Great taste and wonderful sauce. The Black Ink Pasta with Shrimp was delicious and a unique entree. Nicely decorated and wonderful soft live guitar playing near bar area. I would highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The food never disappoints. The service by Slater was amazing. He always does an excellent job. The food comes out a perfect time. Keep up the great food and service

This was just wonderful for everything. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and will be back for another meal. Just great.
