We had such an amazing and well rounded experience! Started off with a fantastic espresso martini! We are a little snobbish when it comes to these but this one was actually made with espresso and a mascarpone cream foam on top really made it so delicious. The lamb Shank with risotto was creamy and a fantastic bite as well as the vodka sauce with added sausage was a great recommendation. The server was so nice and a true Italian from Sicily! Didn't make us feel rushed but still always checked to make sure we were happy. I love the limoncello shots post meal. Made me feel like I was back in Italy. Will definitely be coming back and I'm going to see if they have gift cards for a Christmas gift to my parents!

Firstly, the food was amazing, but there are a few totally fixable issues with the restaurant. The main issue was the ambience, it is incredibly loud, we were at a table for 6 & you could kinda yell to the person next to you, but forget about talking to the rest of the table. The lighting was also a bit like being in IKEA, very bright. Lastly, there are only 2 single stalls for toilets, one for men & one for women & it is a big restaurant. I was 5th in line for the women’s & it took ages & in all the time there not a single man used the men’s room, so I missed a big chunk of my time at the restaurant in line. These should not be issues in a restaurant in this price range. So this place would be for sure a 4 or 5 star rating if they did something about the acoustics, dimmed/changed the lightbulbs & maybe consider making both bathrooms gender neutral like most restaurants in the area so women are better served. I will again say the food was great & the service was good. I will probably get food from here again, but via delivery.

The food, ambience and service was excellent! We also had the Ravioli di Carne and Rigatoni Vodka but I forgot to take a picture! They were both delicious as well as all the other dishes we ordered. I would definitely come back here again.

Everyone there was supper nice food is amazing portions and I recommend the chicken its so good. The wine selection is delicious. Great place i would love to go again. They had a lot of birthdays there its loud but nice not really date night more party style.

After a recent trip to Italy, we were craving authentic pasta dishes. Trattoria da Sofia did not disappoint! Each of our dishes was delicious. My dish (our table favorite!) was the Pistacciosa. Great wine selections, spritzers and best, simple, authentic tiramisu prepared table side. We’ll be back!

We had a great meal. Two of us had the salmon and loved it. I had the meat raviolis and they were excellent. The fourth member of our group had the seafood raviolis and said they were great. The service was very good considering the restaurant was getting slammed on a Saturday night. We will definitely go back.

Sofia is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with a slightly different menu. For example, their artichoke appetizer is outstanding and not common in other Italian restaurants. My wife and i have eaten here several times and will continue to to return. My last entree, the short rib stuffed ravioli was in a fantastic cream sauce. The cannoli are excellent and the tiramisu is prepared table side, another exceptional service. It is a bit noisy but the overall decor and ambiance is appealing. Sofia is definitely worth a visit.
