The food is soooooo good. From the apps, pastas and desserts, we were happy with everything we ordered. We chose to sit outside instead of waiting 20 minutes after our desired reservation time for a table inside, which what was originally booked. The patio is covered and they have heaters, so it wasn't the worst.

Our first time here observations: The space was well decorated and obviously popular. Service was pretty attentive, though, occasionally absent. Menu was small, but varied in types of food. Food: Tiramasu amazing; filet perfectly cooked; seafood and pistacchiosa were very good; tarfuto was watery, mostly flavorless, with dry and tasteless chicken chunks. The volume of noise was at such a ridiculous level that conversation was impossible. Not sure we’ll visit again…

Had a reservation for 8:00 and I believe they close at 9pm. My partner and I were the only one there the last hour and half before closing so the place was quiet and charming. We literally had the whole place to ourselves and the staff were super charming and nice. They made us feel special on a regular Wednesday night. The food was amazing and our server made me a off the menu cocktails was really fruity and refreshing

I was disappointed, my food was bland and underwhelming. I ordered the Pistachio spaghetti with chicken and it had very little seasoning. Bread basket for three was super small, everything was just mid. I won’t go back.

I had a fantastic experience at Trattoria da Sofia. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. I went with my family, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant is incredibly family-friendly, creating a warm and comfortable space for everyone. I highly recommend Trattoria da Sofia and can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed Sofia very much. Very nicely set, kind service with knowledge and great food. My first assessment is how you are greeted upon arrival. Accommodating! Welcoming! Our waiter knew how to explain options, asked about any allergies.. he was great! We enjoyed the food very much. Started with Arancini - more tomato based rice yummy. Calamari was tender (breading could be lighter) and meatballs on the money! We tried several pastas and chic parm. Cacio a Pepe very delicious - just right amount of black pepper, gently stuffed w ricotta, rigatoni alla vodka very tasty - be aware it is spicy and pistachio pesto and spaghetti was excellent - finally chicken parm - I know it is not a traditional Italian dish but thin and nicely prepared. All in all - very good experience. Will be back!
