   We went to dinner in a large group, 7. The staff was very attentive and pleasant.Our waiter worked very hard. It was very nice to hear each other at the restaurant as so many restaurants today have open ceilings and the acoustics impasse nice conversation. The food was tasty and fresh. We were extremely happy when the check came, the value of the experience was perfect!!! Definitely give Trattoria a reservation!!!

   Dined here on a recent holiday with a pre-fixed menu. Service started out well and then went downhill from there. We weren’t rush, but we didn’t see our waiter for a half hour at one point. Top was included in the meal price. Apps and meal were decent. Dessert was good. Drinks were overpriced. Manager seemed to be pitching at times.

   Valentine’s dinner started out nicely by being warmly greeted by the bartender and hostess and even given a rose when I was seated. The dining room was romantically lit and love songs playing softly in the background. My $18 cocktail was going down good and then suddenly 80s club music starts blasting throughout the place. I like freestyle music just as much as the next 80s girl, but hearing White Lines blasting in the middle of Valentine’s dinner was a bit strange and not appropriate for what’s supposed to be a romantic Valentine’s dinner. Food was mediocre at best. For a limited preset menu that I had to look up the Italian translation to it should have been better. BTW: that was not mozzarella en carrozza, that was a grilled cheese on whole wheat.

   Wow! So disappointed with their entrees that were specials. I had the lobster risotto it came out with a half of a 1lb lobster in the shell on the plate! How weird is that, I’ve had plenty of lobster risotto that came already mixed in the risotto. The lobster consisted of 1 claw and a half of a lobster tail for 49.95 lol! The waiter was bragging about having live lobster tank so how could I go wrong. I literally got a 2 tablespoons of lobster in my risotto ! My wife had the filet mignon that was under cook and cut in half on an angle why? Worst meal we’ve ever had and wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. After I said something they offered to buy us a drink, I will Never step foot in this place again and will let others know about this bad experience. We go out every weekend for dinner and always have a good experience, this is why I don’t like trying new places! The bill was 200.00 with tip.

   Upon entering the hostess was wonderful and seated us immediately and we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and live music as we waited for our dinner mates. There was a distinct retro vibe with that reminded us of the lounge in Goodfellas - really neat. The cocktails and food was good although the waiter service got more and more gruff as the dinner service went on. We had to ask a number of times just to get water refill, the water went from bottled water to plastic pitcher service. When the singer closed his set for the night the service became rude with our waiter actually tossing/sliding a dessert plate across the table to one of us. There was also a very intimidating fellow dressed all in black standing in the front of the dinning area with his arms crossed just watching everything, I am not sure what his role was but his presence as it was was not comfortable. If the service stayed at the level experienced when we first walked in it would have been a fantastic night and a fantastic review, that being said we are open to going there again and hopefully find that this was an off night and night the norm.

   Apps and Dinners where excellent, plus service was perfect and attentive, my only down side were the expensive drinks, 2 MakersMard and ginger onthe rocks $34.00 WOW!!

    This was my 4th visit to Trattoria Toscana. My previous dining experiences had been positive. This meal was disappointing. I ordered Linguine Frutti di Mare and asked for it Fra Diavolo. The sauce had a hint of hot but wasn't hot enough. The linguine was mushy, not al dente as it should have been. It was more like Chefboyardee and disappointing. 2 out of the 3 clams were slimy and some of the mussels were cooked more than others. This is my own fault for not telling the waiter that I was not pleased with the meal. My husband kept telling me to share with the waiter but I finished the seafood and left the pasta. It is not my style to "complain" about food in a restaurant. I think in my entire dining experience I have only sent food back once and it was because it wasn't totally cooked. I take responsibility for not being honest. But I have no desire to go back. My other meals have been good. I can accept an off night but the lack of flavor and the prep is what I am remembering. I had really thought this was going to be our "go to" restaurant. I am disappointed.
