Led by Chef Evan Funke, Tre Dita, Italian for "three fingers", pays homage to the precise measurement of bistecca Fiorentina.

If booking in the dining room at Tre Dita, you will enjoy a menu of antipasti, handmade pastas, signature entrees and steaks.
If booking in the Bar Tre Dita, you will enjoy a smaller menu of stuzzi, antipasti, handmade pastas and entrees.
The full cocktail, wine list and dessert menu is available in both locations.

    I was almost the first one to book the table and leave a note asking for seats by the window but it turned out to have seats that surrounded by other seats and had no way to take any photo for birthday celebration

    Always a great experience here, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. A favorite thus far is the Tagliatelle Ragú and Pistachio Dolce cake. Out of this world.

    A trip to the emergency room prohibited me from having dinner at Tre Dita at my scheduled time. My husband and I also had theater tickets that night so I passed everything along to a friend. It was her first experience with Tre Dita and she was not disappointed. She had the Bore pasta and was quite pleased with it. She said the service was excellent and the room was beautiful. Tried to eat. It is now going on her favorites list. I know it’s definitely on my favorites list. As I missed the opportunity, I will be booking again soon. Definitely a dining experience not to be missed.

    Tre Dita is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance is stunning—warm, sophisticated, and full of energy. Even on a Tuesday night, the place was packed with a mix of business meetings, date nights, and groups just enjoying a great meal. It’s the kind of spot that works for any occasion. The food? Absolutely outstanding. The Kagoshima Wagyu was a dream—melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those dishes you take a bite of and immediately know you’ll be thinking about it later. The chicken was another standout, incredibly crispy on the outside and so juicy inside that it felt almost unreal. Then there’s the pasta—handmade and exceptional. The olive and lemon flavors in one dish were bright and refreshing, while the arrabbiata brought the heat. A bit spicier than expected, but next time, I might opt for something else—there are plenty of options to explore. Their wine selection was excellent, well-curated to match the richness of the dishes. If there’s one thing I’d skip, it’s the desserts. The tiramisu leaned too sweet, and the gelato was just average—not bad, but not as memorable as everything else. Overall, Tre Dita delivers on every level—food, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the incredible Italian flavors but for the whole experience.

    Absolutely amazing wait staff and service. Though delicious food, some plates fell flat, compounded by small portion sizes made them feel overpriced. Service made up for it alone tho

    It was our wedding anniversary and it couldn't be more perfect. From the front hosts and their willingness to please to the hosts and their recommendations and polite demeanor to the sommelier, everything was great. The views to die for obviously. Highly recommended.

    We didn’t get our drinks until 40-50 minutes after being seated. We ordered before our neighbors table and they got their drinks and they were almost done with their appetizers before we got ours drinks. By the time our salad and appetizers came out, our neighbors were already on their entrees. Keep in mind we sat before them and ordered before them.
