Triumph Brewing Company, founded in 1995, is a full service restaurant and brewery with a seasonally changing gastro-pub menu driven largely by local farms. One guest described us as, "Upscale yet laid back. Cool but cozy. Refined but not pretentious." We're still blushing! We have live, original music Thursday- Sunday - never a cover charge and never a cover band. We have an outdoor patio for drinks and dining where dogs are welcome.

Conveniently located on Bridge Avenue just in front of the acclaimed Two River Theater, a 2 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the Count Basie Theatre. There is ample, free garage parking directly behind Triumph.

                                                                        Have been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. This round the menu has changed dramatically. Also the options weren’t as appetizing as before. Service wasn’t as attentive and noted the waitress used plenty of down time in the cubby by the bar. Will give it another go, but not for awhile.

                                                                        The waiter left a lot to be desired. He had no personality, operated with a put upon attitude, and generally was not helpful. Otherwise we will be back because the food was good and the atmosphere was perfect for New Year’s Eve. Drinks were terrific and the entertainment was great.

                                                                        We thoroughly enjoyed our New Years Eve experience at Triumph! The special menu for New Years was extraordinary and everything was delicious. The band was top notch and a perfect level of sound so we could talk, but still enjoy the music! Triumph is one of our favorites and never fails to satisfy!

                                                                        I took over 30 minutes just for the waitress to come over. Food was not hot, never asked how the burger should be cooked, forgot side order and never came back to see if all was ok or if we needed anything else. Disappointed and overpriced

                                                                        My friend and I came to Triumph for a 6:30 pm dinner on NYE. Despite the hour, the place was already packed.  we had requested a table away from the music and were seated in the back room. The table was a little weird because the seats at the table for 2 were side-by-side which made conversation a little tricky. We shared a plate of fried oysters, which were absolutely delicious, and then we both had the short rib for entrée which was tender and flavorful. The server was run off her feet by the crowd, but she still managed to check in with us regularly. We were not rushed out, which was appreciated as we had lots of catching up to do. A delightful way to finish up 2024.

                                                                        Triumph Red Bank has a great ambiance. However, the food suffered a few setbacks. We had an early NYE reservation but it seems the kitchen was already struggling. We ordered burnt ends and fried oysters for appies and while the flavor was good on the burnt ends, well, burnt ends are supposed to have that yummy bark from the “burning” and these barely had a crisp. So in effect they could have been called BBQ meat chunks. The fried oysters would have landed a chef from New Orleans on an unemployment line - they were soggy and cold. For dinner, I ordered the bouillabaisse- I was so excited for a hot steamy bowl of deliciousness and instead was treated with a lukewarm bowl of broth - only the cod had an appropriate temperature. While our waiter was courteous, he was clearly overwhelmed with too many tables; we didn’t even bother asking for a dessert menu because it took so long to simply get our plates cleared. Overall - I walked away feeling like my $200 would have been better spent elsewhere.

                                                                        This was our first visit here. We were originally attracted to it because the great Motown themed band, "Motor City Revue", was playing here at no admission or cover charge! Amazing!! They are great and kept the place rockin' and dancing all night. As an added special bonus, the ambiance, food, drinks and service were really good. They also honored a special request we made through Open Table. We had a great night at a reasonable price. We'll be back.

                                                                        Not our first time at Triumph and we always enjoy ourselves. Atmosphere is always great as is the food. Last night was perfect, our service from Shea was outstanding, the manager and assistant manager excellent. And the food of course was delicious!
