Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Monday nights transform into the LaBombe Wine Bar.

For events in house, Trivet offers tailored set menus for formal and casual seated dining, standing snacks and canapés, paired dinners for wine events and special in-house events such as chef collaborations and Canadian Thanksgiving! Jonny, Isa and the team can also offer off-site catering upon request.

Trivet can offer a variety of event experiences, for up to 30 guests seated in the private dining room (the 'Mustard Room'), or around 50 guests seated in the main dining space as a whole venue hire. The whole restaurant, with bar and terrace included, is a flexible and dynamic space, ready for meetings, tastings, celebrations and more.

We are now open for a very different Trivet experience, fully realising our Wine Bar potential on the most (we think unfairly) moaned-about day of the week! We would love to welcome you on Mondays from 5pm-11pm for drinks, with a special menu available to order between 5pm and 9.30pm, to help you ease into the working week (or enjoy your day off if you’re a fellow hospitality worker). The full Trivet wine list will of course be available to explore, as will our cocktails and other drink options, including some incredible wines by the glass. Online bookings can be made for parties of up to 6 guests. An exceptional dining and service experience in a beautiful space with exquisite food and attentive hospitality. For anyone looking for a wonderful place to dine this is by far one of the best restaurants in London! Do not be intimidated by their two Michelin stars… they of course, completely and utterly well earned, however, you will not feel overwhelmed or intimidated like you can at other Michelin star restaurants. Whether you live in London or visiting from out of town, this is a must stop for anybody who loves great food and exceptional wine!

Amazing cooking and flavors. Friendly and (luckily) not too formal service. Would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

The food was outstanding but sadly the whole experience was let down by the service. Aside from the sommelier, the servers were not attentive and seemed distracted.

An outstanding culinary experience from start to finish with first class food and wink and a wonderful ambience. The staff were perfectly attentive and engaging and we loved that Johnny delivered coffees to his kitchen team

Superb now 2 Michelin star restaurant, but still relaxed for pre Christmas celebrations. Have a wonderful birthday meal. The drunken noodles are very special.

Food service was painfully service during a very busy lunchtime sitting. Took four hours to complete a four course meal. Main course for one person at least arrived tepid. Didin't send back as had already waited an age for it. Hard surfaces amplify the noise coming from neighbouring tables. Very interesting wine list with value from "off-piste" regions.
