True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. We love True Food and go there all the time. I usually get their ancient grain bowl. It's my favorite. We also like that they have a lot of vegetarian options. Last night, I ordered the seasonal soup as my main. It took three tries and 20 minutes for it to come to the table hot. I think the worst part was I felt like the staff doubted me that it was cold the 1st time and lukewarm the 2nd. Each time it came to the table. It was met with "I watched him take it out of the pot." My husband backed up my story, and we told them to test for themselves. I don't need a boiling bowl of soup, but soup should be hot. I wasn't expecting anything other than my hot bowl of soup (which I paid for), but If they weren't going to take it off the bill, it sure would have been nice if they offered even a cookie or something for the inconvenience.

Really good food. You can tell it’s high quality ingredients. Service was excellent. Ambiance is average- It’s a big space.
