True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our party of four dined at this mall restaurant. The space is big with high ceilings, what you’d expect from a mall restaurant. The biggest let down is the portion size. Talk about shrink-flation! There was barely any food! Spent $$$$ and left feeling hungry. How disappointing. I would not recommend. I would give zero stars for this review if I could. I will never dine there again.

The manager and waitress were superb. They accommodated our diet needs. So lovely to see a place cater to customers needs and joy of food. The atmosphere was clean, quiet and food was sent out promptly. Waitress was kind and made sure all our food was made properly. Will go back again.

First time there. Food was delicious and service was terrific. Our server was so welcoming. Already made plans to go back.

I would like to give a special thanks to Alana, the assistant general manager of True Food Kitchen at Garden City location. I hosted a table to 18 people with special dietary restriction. Alana was able to discuss the situation with the chef to create a special menu for us. All the dishes were not only delicious but flavorful and nutritious. I highly recommend this place and definitely go back again.

It was just OK. Probably because we are used to eating crap food and not this supposedly healthy stuff. Prices were a high on some things, especially the drinks. They should make sure there is ketchup either on the table or on the plate with the burgers. We're literally waiting 5 minutes for ketchup while the burgers are getting cold. Overall, I'm not sure about the place as I don't think the value proposition is there. Might give it another chance one day.

Great fresh food. For some reason, the food is not hot. Even when they did it over, it still wasn't as hot as I like my food. However, the manager came over and was very nice and tried to rectify.

I reserved a table for a large party for my daughter's birthday. The server was smart enough to take the kid's orders first and they got their drinks and food first. They didn't take the adult order quickly though. The kids' orders were mixed up and took awhile to straighten out. One of the adult orders came out super late. Another adult found a piece of glove in her salad. No comp for that dish on the bill. No apology at the end.

Loved the number of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Happy to find a restaurant where there are multiple great options to choose from...soup, salads, burger, pizza and bowls. I had the double plant based homemade cheese burger, and swapped out the salad for pesto pasta...thank you to my server for the recommendation. Cannot wait to return to try something else...maybe of the many vegetarian bowls (I think there are four or five!).

The healthiest restaurant on Long Island, which I regularly visit, features an all-organic menu, friendly employees, and a clean environment. This outstanding organic restaurant is always a must-visit destination. Despite the busy hours on weekends, the service was satisfactory. I enjoy the comfortable and cozy atmosphere, which makes it a great place to catch up with friends. Our meal was exceptionally fresh and served in a timely manner. The menu offers a variety of options, including gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, and Mediterranean. This is my go-to spot for dining out.
