I love True Foods I order the same thing chop Salad with Salmon medium. This time the salmon was really super undercooked I couldn't eat it all and told waitress just to let chef know she agreed, but said it was no big deal. I love that salad and was starving so still ate most of it and will continue coming back there and bringing friends 🧡

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, the hostess was pleasant in welcoming us, as the manager approached the hostess stand. With clearly 8 plus tables open inside, the manager asked us to wait because we had arrived early for out 6:45 reservation. In lieu of waiting for a "table to be cleaned off" I asked for a patio table. Both manager and hostess quickly abliged! The hostess, with 5 of the 7 tables open, sat us right next to the hostess stand! Phones ringing for takeout, people walking up, this table was akin to sitting next to the bus station. I asked to be moved, she agreed, we moved, then waited a good 5 to 8 minutes before a guest who had just been sat behind us got up and asked for a waiter. I've been in the business, managed the business the wait was far too long. It's not the customer's fault if they don't want to sit next to an obvious distraction. In my opinion, the only reason to sit anyone in a high traffic, high volume area is if the place is full, and the customer is first asked if they want to sit there or wait for another table. Granted, the hostess may have double sat a server's section, but neither table received service. I will say, once notified, both the server, who was training a newbie, and the manager jumped in and finished strong. Point being accomodate the customer in front of you, listen, then put them in the best position possible, then alert the server about the table. The patio tables were clearly neglected, so someone needed to let the server know they've been sat! And, whenever possible, don't dump someone at a crummy table and hope they don't complain! The guests who don't speak up are the peeps who walk out and then tell 10 people what a terrible experience they had.

Always love true foods except this time they were out of a few items we really wanted. A bit disappointing since we went there for those menu items.

Delicious but now charging $25 for a poke bowl? And $19 for a margarita? Prices are way to high

One of our guests ordered the Teriyaki Bowl. It came with farro and avocado- ingredients that weren’t supposed to be in it. However there was Bok Choy. I suspect that the kitchen mixed up the order and added part Ancient Grain Bowl and part Teriyaki Bowl. The manager refunded the item but did not act too concerned. The interaction with the manager was not becoming of our love for True Foods.

The price for the small quantity of food didn't match. I ordered a side of carrots and it came out on the plate like they had just thrown it on the plate like an after thought. For dessert I had a chocolate cookie with ice cream. The cookie was hard and not warm like it was suppose to be. They put the ice cream in a separate bowl which is fine but when they brought it to me the ice cream was melted. When the waitress brought it out and the first thing she says is oh your ice cream must have melted while it was sitting out because they were heating the cookie up.. seriously that's not acceptable.
