Located in the heart of the Lantern District in Dana Point, Truly Pizza is an artisanal neighborhood pizzeria where friends and family can relax and enjoy the fellowship of sharing pizza - the world's greatest communal food.

                                                              I remembered our first trip to Dana Point. We all were craving pizza. I looked over and saw Truly Pizza. It was a brand new restaurant. So we gave it a try...and we fell in love with the first bite. Its truly something special. You can taste the love, care, and quality that goes into the food. The service isn't bad but it's not that good either. We definitely be back.

                                                              I have enjoyed dinning at Truly Pizza since they have opened. Not once have they ever disappointed! From service to food every experience has been exceptional. Keep up the great work and looking forward to their next venture soon.

                                                              Started off rocky but ended up good. I understand policy but the front reception manager spoke to us in a condescending manner and came across as pretentious. Really put a bad taste in my mouth. He eventually begrudgingly ended up accommodating us in the end but it was the food and service from the server that saved the night.

                                                              First time there on Saturday for a lunch date w/my hubby. Had the chicken wings,house Salad and two pizzas (1 of ea… this was too much food) Everything was delicious!!! The restaurant is fresh looking and the staff was very nice. Loved it!! Will definitely come back!!!

                                                              *Truly* so delicious! We enjoyed the sweet and sour square pizza and it was one of the better pizzas I’ve had, as it was incredibly flavorful! Will absolutely be coming back here often.

                                                              We chose a later lunch time and it was perfect. We sat upstairs outside and it was a delight. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyed joining in on our crazy conversations. We brought a bottle and paid the corkage fee. From chicken wings to fresh sake to the spicy pepperoni there was not a piece of food left to take home. I will say the last time I went I did have a few slices left over and I ate it the next morning, not even heated and it was excellent.

                                                              I was hoping this would be the next pizzeria Mozza, but they’ve got a way to go. Crust was good but strangely brittle without good chew, salads had some nice ingredients and well plated but house salad could’ve been larger and more flavorful. Dessert selection seems intentionally and bizarrely meager, presumably to turn tables faster. Staff was perfectly nice but definitely needs polishing up.
