Located in the heart of the Lantern District in Dana Point, Truly Pizza is an artisanal neighborhood pizzeria where friends and family can relax and enjoy the fellowship of sharing pizza - the world's greatest communal food.

                                                              We love this place, we drive from Long Beach to Dana point just to eat here. Bri’s service was amazing and timely, and as always the place was vibrant, but not noisy with welcoming staff. Will come back always.

                                                              Besides the amazing pizza, we had 5 unhappy approaches just pushing we out … the diarist one was just before we seat, when someone came to tell me that they have 90 min time for eating and that’s enough… and I was like: I do not believe that. The second one , we were still eating and the guy came asking if we want a box to put the pizza left…. But , as I said, we were clearly eating. I told him : we’re still eating! It’s unbelievable but after that, e had 3 more “box offers”!!!!! Terrible!!!!! Unpleasant!!!!!

                                                              It took over half an hour for my pizza to arrive. The server did not stop by between taking my order and bringing the pizza. For the price of my pizza - $40 - they could have said the pizza would take a bit to bake. They didn’t seem to be aware that the pizza had taken so long to come out. The dough seemed over-baked, as it was a little tough. The ingredients were a good combination and tasted fresh.

                                                              Food is excellent as always. Truly pizza may truly have the best pizza in OC if not SoCal. Service is great. All the servers are so nice and accommodating. The price point is also fairly decent. Cocktails are good, and the ambience is very cozy.
