Contemporary, cool and inventive, it has been fashioned by legendary Connecticut restaurateur Richard Rosenthal and executive chef and partner, Chris Torla. Custom. Progressive cross-cultural dishes offer variations of familiar food from around the world. The menu features a collection of tasters, tapas, tequila as well as larger plates and entrées. A new focus on agave spirits has brought new excitement to the restaurant.

Lawson’s Finest Liquids was founded in 2008 in Warren, Vermont as a 1bbl home-based brewery. Fans quickly sought out their beer, prompting an expansion in 2011 to a 7bbl system and the launch of their flagship IPA, Sip of Sunshine in 2014. Lawson’s Finest opened their destination Brewery, Taproom and Retail store in Waitsfield in 2018, finally giving a space to welcome visitors. Their beer can be found throughout the Max Group locations, and in various states across the U.S. We welcome the team from Lawson’s Finest Liquids back to Trumbull Kitchen for our annual beer and food pairing dinner – always a great time with tasty beers and fantastic food. Greeter and Servers were very pleasant and attentive and directed our choices well when we had questions. A little noisy but pleasant atmosphere. Excellent place to go before Hartford Stage!

Food is always delicious, ambiance is great. This is my favorite restaurant in Hartford! I never get tired of going to Trumbull Kitchen.

Mushroom soup and chicken taquitos were good. Husband had strip steak.Food was fine, not great. Chocolate torte dessert was decadent. Excellent service, well timed due to theater tickets, very nice ambience.

We decided to sit at the bar Friday night. The service was fantastic - very kind and attentive. The food was excellent! Drinks were also well done!! Looking forward to our next visit

We had a nice meal with good service. We had a time limit to make it to a show and the staff was very helpful in making sure we got there on time. All in all, we had a very nice time and meal.

6 of us arrived on time. Promptly seated. Waitress came by within a couple of minutes to take our drink orders. Food orders taken and we explained we had to leave by a certain time. Waitress kept a sharp eye on us and the time. Food arrived hot dishes. Excellent food and service. Reminds me of New York service. We all highly recommend this restaurant. I bet you’ll be impressed. The gang.

We always make Trumbull kitchen a stop when we are in Hartford! Great food, great drinks, great service and walkable to the XL center!
