my husband loves the breakfast benny! burgers are huge! lots of great & good for you food on the menu! we love the paslce and will definately be back.

I love this place. Food is always excellent and they have alot of options for gluten free foodies. I always get the salmon, and it's some of the best in town. Good selection of wines and a good happy hour menu. Breakfast is delicious too - lots of different options. I recommend this place to anyone.

like many reviewers before, I think the key word here is FRESH. Nice flavor blends, some interesting combos.. and truly freshly prepared and attractively served,

Tasty food with a strong affinity to organic choices. Special board changes monthly. Food is freshly prepared. We had dinner there while vacationing in the Phoenix are and returned for a second dinner during the same stay. Prices are moderate.

We were hard pressed to find a good brunch/breakfast spot in the North Valley near Union Hills. Tryst Cafe was super. After revieiwing restaurants in the zipcode.we decided on TRYST; It allow us a reservation for 6. IT proved perfect for our informal, reunion brunch with friends long missed. The food was fresh, flavorful, organic and even offered GL.

The food was just average and our waitress, though nice, was inattentive. She was only serving a couple of tables and we had to ask for her twice, plus got assistance from another waiter or busboy in her absence. We couldn't even get our tab for a good 15 min after we were done, asking another server to please go get her, then waited awhile again for her to run the credit card and bring it back for signature. While we were eating our meal, she was cleaning up near where we were seated and stacking chairs on tables, even though there was still over two hours of dinner service until closing time. She must have been in a hurry to get home! Also saw her hanging out inside at times, and at the bar (we were on patio) not doing much of anything.

Love this spot. The food is fresh and service is excellent. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and accommodating to special requests.

We enjoyed the food as we always do. Service was good and our server was very nice, but could have been a little more attentive. Noise level was good, but people with children just need to be more aware of the noise level of their children and how it affects other diners.

On my first visit to Tryst, we came for breakfast. They were friendly and accommodating, but overall the food was just so so. They specialize in organic and gluten free, which is both a novelty and refreshing. The gluten free bread is very good albeit a bit try, but very tasty when slathered with butter. The omelets are very dry with not enough cheese to make up the difference and the biscuit under the sausage gravy was golf ball hard. I did observe a plate of pancakes that a neighboring table were devouring with gusto and the Hawaiian breakfast was strongly recommended by our server, but I prefer going low carb for breakfast. The menu is interesting and well worth a try. I will give it another go for their happy hour.
