T’s Brunch Bar introduces Brunch with a twist to Cumberland Mall! Owner Teneshia Murray is a serial entrepreneur that loves brunch foods and she wants a twist of mimosas, breakfast and brunch foods added to her list of business! Our menu will have all types of different brunch foods with a little touch of southern! Chef Jamarious Gilmere created all of Teneshia’s favorite brunch foods and added a twist to each entree! Our food is cooked fresh to order and have great flavor with amazing taste! We look forward to serving you!

Though we made reservations, we were told we still had a 45-minute wait. Host said something about the reservation systems being crossed up. So we sat at the bar. Service was good and congenial though our order got mixed up, and which resulted in a long delay. We were not comped for the food despite the long wait for them to correct the order. And we were not notified of the chicken sausage upcharge. And we were not informed of the automatic 18% gratuity until the check came. Friendly staff and good food despite the service hiccups.

We were not greeted upon entry, and waited to be seated although we had a reservation. After not being acknowledged by any staff, I asked the bartender if anyone was working the front door and she immediately told me that they were short staffed and she would be right with me, which led to the 10 mins of me and my party of 5 waiting by the front door. Once seated, we looked at the menu and placed our order. I had the twisted seafood omelette, which had shrimp and crawfish, came with a biscuit and grits which I substituted for potatoes. Our daughter had the cinnamon roll pancakes, which came with scrambled eggs, a biscuit, grits and your choice of bacon links or sausage. My son had the fried chicken dinner which came with 5 wings and his choice of two sides, he chose the fries and macaroni and cheese. My 3 year old was asked by the server what she wanted to eat, which she said waffles but seeing as how my wife ordered The Marta which comes with 4 shrimp, catfish, and your choice of waffle. Served with grits, which we changed to potatoes, we advised the server that she would eat off of her her plate. The food did not take long to come but there were errors. An extra waffle, which is to be assumed was for my 3 year old, was sent out which we returned. My wife’s “Marta” order came out with a Cajun sauce all over the catfish, which was not specified on the menu and the strawberry waffles came out with a heavy pour on it as well, which is also not specified on the menu in the restaurant nor online. For the Marta it states: “The Marta, $26.95 Comes with 4 shrimp, catfish, and your choice of waffle. Served with grits.” So, unfortunately, we had to send that back as well and asked for it to be remade without any toppings as we do not like soggy or wet food and that is why we are very good at making sure we read descriptions prior to placing orders, seeing as we are a large party and do order in abundance. 18% gratuity is added to every bill, so we added 3% to make it 21.

The food was good but overpriced. The strangest thing was the glasses and plates were plastic. Like my brother ordered a drink and I ordered a mimosa and I didn't notice at first, but the glasses were hard plastic. And when our food came, the plates were plastic too, like what you might get at Waffle House. They weren't ceramic, melamine, stoneware, etc. The staff was friendly and it was Christmas, so we tipped well because we appreciate them working on a holiday.

The food was really good especially the pancakes and I’m not a pancake person. I’m definitely going back. My server Quo was very friendly.

Typical Sunday brunch spot. The restaurant is LOUD! There was a DJ that played good music, but we had to yell across our table of 6 to hear each other. The DJ toned the music down a little bit as the day went on. He went from hip-hop to R&B which was nice. The food was delicious! We had various meals to include seafood and grits, seafood hash browns, oxtails, fried green tomatoes, beignets, and mimosas all around. The waitstaff was very accommodating and checked on us often. It was an overall good experience and we will be back.

First time and the food and service was excellent!!!! My only complaint is the music was too loud and we found our self yelling at each other in the booth because we couldn’t hear . I appreciate the DJ but a little more subtle music would be better. I would definitely return maybe during the week instead of the weekend .

It was an amazing experience with friends!! We had reservations and were seated shortly after we arrived. Our server was great….made really good recommendations on food and drinks! Check this place out if you have the opportunity….You won’t be disappointed!!
