   I had chicken and waffle for the first time. I wasn't sure I would like it but I thought it was fantastic. Chicken was moist and tender but crisp on the outside. Waffle was sweet and went so good with the chicken. I never eat my whole meal, but this was so good I ate the whole thing. We had the banana pudding for dessert; I was disappointed in it. It was runny and not a lot of flavors, but my husband liked it so maybe it was just me.

   First time here. Our waitress MJ took such good care of us and made us feel so welcomed. We definitely want to come back to try more of the menu.

   Nice location. Have been there for brunch once before and decided to try dinner. Took a while to get the food but it was good once it came out. I think they were short staffed but our server was courteous and tending.

   Server and service was excellent. There were 5 of us. My meal the pork skillet was excellent and sides of collards and mac and cheese generous and well prepared. My pineapple sangria had little or no alcohol in it and was small, ice filled and disappointing. Husband had the surf and turf. He said steak was tough and shrimp was skimpy. He was disappointed. One had the salmon and reported it just okay. The rest had fried chicken and went away hungry—portions on the small side. I had more than I could finish so the hungry ones shared with my leftovers. Again server and service was A+

   Fried green tomatoes were outstanding! Our server was awesome! The house wine "Tipsy Hen" was terrific! We will be back soon!

   Service was very slow. Placed drink order took 30 minutes to receive. Waitress didn’t check on us frequently.

   Second time at Tupelo. I ordered the same as before and the food was just as good. The restaurant was neat and clean. The hostesses greeted us and one seated us. The waitress met us instantly however, someone else brought our appetizer and someone else brought the entrees. We waited longer than normal simply to pay the bill. I found someone to get the silverware and napkins. Not sure if she had too many customers but the service was basic. We made a reservation and did not have to wait . That was wonderful. Again the food was really good.

    The wait staff is exceptional as is the food. Our server was very accommodating to our party and kept our glasses full.
