Originally opened in 2010 as the first authentic Artisan Italian restaurant in Salem, NH, Tuscan Kitchen is now one of the most beloved restaurants in New England. Founder Joe Faro, the son of Sicilian immigrants, had the vision to share his love for Italian heritage with his guests. Tuscan Kitchen has locations in Salem, New Hampshire, Burlington and Boston, Massachusetts.

No bread, drinks were super delayed, and my friends and I’s filet’s were reversed…mine was rare and my buddy ate mine

We had an outstanding server with delicious food. However, we had an early reservation and with the restaurants practically empty were sat at a tiny table.

Prosciutto pizza is delicious. The server was also friendly and provided excellent recommendations for rental properties in the surrounding areas.

We had reservations for 8, they put us in a beautiful space that was just amazing! Our waitress, Tanja, was super friendly and very attentive. We ordered the Octopus, Calamari and the Artichokes which were all phenomenal (appetizers) Ordering the main courses was difficult because the options were limited. Everyone got something different, but nothing was better than the appetizers. Desserts were delicious and were a very generous portion. I had the lava cake, which was amazing (really should have split it, but it was too good!) I'd say it was almost perfect, if the entries could have been a little more special. I will say, I think the salmon looked like it probably would have been a good main course pick.

Great service and ambiance but our dishes were salty and not that good. I would come back for drinks but not dinner.

Having gone to other Tuscan Kitchens we were in the area and went there for lunch. Unlike other Tuscan kitchens they did not have a lunch menu. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken (added $9) another member of our party also ordered a Caesars salad with Salmon (added $14) which doubled the cost of the salad . The salads came with large chunks of lettuce which were difficult to cut and eat and were heavy on the dressing. The other members had a chicken dinner and a calamari appetizer. The waitress was lovely and the service was fine. But for 4 people for lunch (2 salads, 1 appetizer, 1 dinner) with 3 drinks the bill was $174. greatly overpriced.
