Originally opened in 2010 as the first authentic Artisan Italian restaurant in Salem, NH, Tuscan Kitchen is now one of the most beloved restaurants in New England. Founder Joe Faro, the son of Sicilian immigrants, had the vision to share his love for Italian heritage with his guests. Tuscan Kitchen has locations in Salem, New Hampshire, Burlington and Boston, Massachusetts.

    Very nice meal! Beautiful venue, professional staff. I especially enjoyed the live jazz music on a Friday night.

    A great restaurant for fine Italian dining. We had delicious salads, scallops with a Parmesan risotto with chunks of lobster, halibut and delicious chocolate gelato with chunks of chocolate. Would recommend this restaurant.

    Waited along with two other couples for over 15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk to seat anyone even though at least a dozen or more people working saw that we were all waiting. The restaurant was half full. the service was redeemed somewhat by our waitress who was terrific. We ended up with 3 dishes, the duck ragu had to be returned as inedible. The other two dishes (bolognese and ravioli) we fair. All in all, a disappointment.

    01/16/2025. Went to Tuscan Kitchen-Seaport with a friend for her birthday celebration dinner. This was both our first time eating here. After taking an elevator from the garage, reading some confusing directions on the wall, and then up the escalator to the 2nd floor, we finally located the restaurant. Overall, everything was really 4-stars, (ambience, customer service, and food), except that the kitchen had a minor mixup and brought me the wrong entrée, but they quickly corrected it. I ordered the salmon and my friend the branzino. Both dishes were well prepared and delicious. My friend and I both agree that we would be repeat customers of this restaurant.

    Last minute Valentine’s Day reservation, couldn’t have picked a better place to go. Live smooth jazz music that created an amazing atmosphere and wasn’t over powering at all! Definitely recommend 11/10

    Amazing dining experience. The place is beautiful, our waiter Juan Costano was attentive, knew the the menu and gave amazing suggestions. It was our first time, we celebrated my mother in law 75th birthday and she raved about the food, ambience and Juan. Thank you, Tuscan Kitchen for the birthday desserts! It was delicious and kudos to the chef as the food including my daughter’s pizza was amazing. The pizza dough was so fresh and flavorful with lots of cheese. My husband bolognese was meaty, hearty and full of flavor! My braised ribs was delicious and my mother in law steak was cooked to perfection. Not to mention the appetizer (meatball and calamari) fantastic! Thank you!! Definitely will return and thank you, Juan!!
