   Anniversary dinner we had high expectations for due to other reviews . We were pleased to receive a complimentary glass of champagne with a lovely window seat and view. Unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly.. starting with the $1.50 hard bread service then proceeded to what was called a Caesar salad but bagged salad would have been better. The entree of ribeye resembled a thin hamburgers with mostly fat with little taste and overcooked. The au gratin luke warm potatoes and my poor husbands roadside prime rib.. cold, thin, fatty and tough. The only thing worth the plate were the mashed potatoes.. in conclusion after spending $150 which included tip with no drinks or dessert, my college dorm meal would have been gourmet in comparison. Save yourself the $ and go somewhere else.

   We showed up early to have a drink at the bar, the table was ready so we sat by the window. All the tables by the windows were full all evening. I had the usual steak and potatoes. My wife ordered the scallops. Both were delicious. The service was right on target all evening. Always a great atmosphere.

   The food, service, ambience and the views were outstanding! One small nit pick. When you charge $150-$200 for dinner and drinks, it is simply cheesy and insulting to ask how many pieces of bread would you like with your dinner and then charge $1.50 for each piece of bread. REALLY?

   Great wine list, Barrata was over the top awesome, delicious Elk appetizer, scalloped potatoes so memorable. The bacon wrapped scallops super tasty. Great flavors. The classical guitarist was perfect ambience. The views unbeatable. Will be back and staying at Adjacent Tahara lodge again!!

   Best view!! Everything we ate was delicious! Had the French onion soup, wedge salad, ribeye, asparagus and mushrooms. Crème brûlée for dessert. Beers were yummy. Service was spectacular. Loved Nataliya

   A fantastic dining experience. We started with the Burrata Caprese and it was delicious. One small piece of one tomato wasn't ripe but the cheese was excellent. I'm not a tomato fan but they were good. Main course was dry aged ribeye and we added the lobster tail. The lobster was split great so it was easy to eat. The ribeye was delicious. It came with some pan sauce that took it up a notch. A side of roasted Brussel sprouts was just the flavor needed. For dessert we had the carrot cake. It was the perfect ending to a great meal. Paired the main with an Old Fashioned. My wife and I come to Estes for a getaway every year and we'll be thinking about our meal until we're back in 2026

    On a recent friend weekend, I made reservations based on a recommendation. Our reservation was scheduled for 7 p.m., although we waited 30 minutes for our table to be cleared and setup. One of our favorite soups is French Onion, so we both had to try it. It was mediocre at best, with soggy, not toasted, "ciabatta" bread and what looked like a square slice of cheese added before popping the cup into a microwave. The spinach and beet salad was underwhelming. My friend's filet was good! I ordered the Diver Scallop Bucatini, and was disappointed with the lemon caper alfredo sauce atop a sticky bucatini. For a $200 meal, which included two cocktails, I expected higher quality for an Estes Park restaurant.
