Twin Owls Steakhouse at The Taharaa Mountain Lodge

For the past two decades, the Twin Owls Steakhouse has offered the premiere fine dining and event experience in the Estes Valley. Now, as we look forward to the next twenty years, we invite you to join us in our new home at the Taharaa Mountain Lodge, and to experience the best that Estes Park has to offer.
Our menu has been carefully crafted to please the entire family, and includes a broad selection of steaks, wild game and seafood, along with a kids’ menu and an irresistible dessert selection. We also offer an extensive wine list, local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails.

Always a wonderful dining experience! The service was top-notch, the food extremely tasty. They have a good wine list. Great value for the money, and one of our favorite places to dine in Estes.

Beautiful view and ambiance! Service excellent! Food: for starters French onion soup - no flavor very thin broth watered down and had only two pieces of thin sliced cheese on top of the bowl which dropped the presentation to zero! Sea bass had no flavor and on the dry side, the side with it was all that had the flavor which is NOT the way it should be in my opinion! The elk sirloin was good but again no flavors or seasonings cooked on it! The side of potato Au gratin was good and had flavor. We opted no dessert for fear it would be disappointing. So, high price, no flavor! I guess you pay for the view.

Serge was our server and was very attentive and pleasant. The food was amazing. The seabass was out of this world! The views at sunset are picturesque!

We had a great experience with the food and the staff the only issue we have is with the parking I don’t think anyone paying that much for a meal should have to walk up 3 flights of stairs in a dem lit area at night in the snow.

Her waitress was great, but the food was OK for the price. The ribeye was really thin, but was cooked to the right temperature. It just seemed really expensive for what you got. Once again, great service.
