The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food.

We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with over 30 tables for our guests to use for both drinking and dining.

A character bar with log fires serving guest ales, beers, and wines. The restaurant serves traditional pub food twice both lunch and evening and all day on both Saturday and Sunday.

    Unfortunately when we arrived at 5.30 we were told that 4 out of 5 roasts were unavailable. As we don’t like pork or vegetarian, we had no option but to leave . Shame, it’s a lovely place so that was disappointing.

    Excellent food and service, as always. The ambience is amazing despite the restaurant being busy on Sunday lunchtime. Our friends from Surrey enjoyed the meal, too, and commented "what a lovely venue". Will definitely come back again.

    Absolutely great staff friendly and helpful. Food was amazing cooked to perfection. Reasonable priced.

    Very good food, fresh vegetables. Only downside was some delay in getting the vegetables so meat was cooling.

    We visited this pub twice on our visit to Fairlight. The pub was very busy and a few items had run out but the food we had was very good especially the sea bream fillet - cooked very well. The creme brûlée was good as well as the whitebait. The waitresses were very good and had a difficult job climbing over dogs in bar and where we were sitting to get to the part of the restaurant we were in. The pub has a great atmosphere but I would say, if you were a bit frightened of dogs, there were an awful lot there ! We would recommend it but not if you were not too keen about being in an area with a lot of dogs. ps we like dogs and have had dogs for many years :)

    Absolutely fantastic roast lunch .. the pork and the lamb were outstanding. Happy to supply extra gravy when asked and absolutely delicious on every level.
