   We had a great meal and the staff was wonderful. The selection of appetizers was varied and we shared two, plus our main courses (lamb shank was tender). The black sesame dessert was especially good.

   We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Tzeva, a modern Mediterranean inspired gem in the beautiful Art Ovation hotel downtown this evening. Everything we ordered was delicious, highly recommend! We started with Vegetarian Hummus with fresh warm pita bread as well as gluten free pita, with a fresh herbal flavor which was great. The toasted feta with thyme honey was wonderful and the Israeli Salad was colorful and flavorful with an assortment of chopped vegetables. The Grouper Shashlik had a nice amount of spice, and the Wagyu Short Rib melted in your mouth. The Agricola Samas Vermentino-Chardonnay from Sardinia ($40) was a good complement to the food, and actually reminded us of a Riesling or Gewurtztraminer. For dessert, we enjoyed the Black Sesame Creme Brûlée. Our server Pietro was charming and professional and added a little Old World charm to the experience. Mary, the manager was warm and welcoming and both she and Pietro made good suggestions and anticipated our needs.

   We love this place. Food is delicious (although today a few plates were served lukewarm). Also lovely atmosphere, kind service and a good value. We will return.

   Loved this dinner. Dancer was amazing and great with our kids. Food was delicious and you MUST try the black sesame crème brûlée

   First time here. We both love mediterranean food and it was the first stop for the Jazz Festival Pub Trolley, so we decided to eat here. The service was very slow as there was only 1 server on the floor. Ours was pulled to the bar so there was only one left. He was very nice and apolegetic, but still it took a long time to get our food and it was a bummer since the jazz performers were set up in the lobby and not in the restaurant so we missed it all. The kebabs are small plates. My food was cold but my wife's was OK. I was still hungry but I didn't want to order anything else trying to get out of there to be able to see some jazz somewhere else. Very disappointed by the place. Slow service, small plates and cold food. I feel generous giving 3 stars. Not coming back here.

    The meal was well prepared and tasty. Excellent use of spices. Choice of small portions or larger portions. Better than many hotel restaurants. Dessert was terrific, ice cream with baklava.
