   Uchi has a 2 hour table limit for parties of 4 or less. Reservations were for 8pm. We didn’t get seated until 8:40. Either the reservation system doesn’t work correctly or the limit wasn’t enforced for our particular table. Not even an apology. Not impressed enough to go back given the wait and the price for a chain restaurant.

   My husband took me for my birthday 2/10 and we got omakase dinner! Everything was phenomenal and just as great quality fish as what we tried in Japan! Pricey but worth it for a special occasion ❤️✨🥂

   We’ve been several times and something was amiss this time. Usually everything is fantastic, but this last time the food was just okay, the beer wasn’t very cold, server wasn’t very friendly, etc. For the cost I definitely expect better.

   We had Seth as our sushi chef at the counter and he was great. Food was delicious with exceptional service. Only challenge was the noise level as it was hard to hear.

    Always ask the server to make suggestions or put an informal tasting together; I don’t recommend trying to order through the menu what you *think* you will like because you’ll miss so many amazing options you didn’t realize were possible. Come hungry and adventurous! Do NOT come here to get the same nigiri and rolls you would anywhere else, that’s not the point of Uchi!
