A bar concept located on the 2nd floor from Chef Tyson Cole that incorporates elements of Uchi & expands that into a cocktail experience. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. I’ve been to Uchibā more times than I can count and always have a good time. It’s the perfect combination of great food, chill vibe and warm service that doesn’t break the bank or require a special occasion to visit.

Our server Eric took such good care of us for our Anniversary dinner on a busy Friday night - he was thoughtful and attentive, not just for us but for all the tables around us. Not an easy thing to do! The Uchiba/Uchi staff are always top tier, the quality of the sushi offerings is unmatched, and the cocktail/mocktail options are creative while still familiar. 10/10 on all fronts! (And thank you again Eric!)

We had a reservation at Uchiba and called ahead to let them know we’d be late. They said it was fine, so we drove over an hour to get there. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our reservation and were super rude and unhelpful. The only option they gave us was two tight seats at the bar where we could barely move. I get that we were late, but it wasn’t in our control. They should’ve called to let us know there were no tables so we wouldn’t have wasted the trip. It was my husband’s birthday, so this made it even worse. The hostesses were rude, unprofessional, and didn’t seem to care at all. For a place we’ve spent a lot of money at, this was really disappointing. We ended up leaving.

Uchi and Uchiba are the my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Uchiba is the cocktail feel and Uchi is the dining experience. Both are fabulous. One friend doesn’t eat seafood and still had plenty of options. I recommend almost anything on the menu. Experiment! You’ll be glad that you did!

Food, staff, ambiance, everything was incredible. Alex was our server & he was 10/10 amazing. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion.
