Serving inventive Japanese cuisine using the freshest seafood from Tokyo’s famed Tsukiji market and local New England fishermen, and borrowing influence from the streets of Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok and Bangladesh, Uni is the evolution of Ken Oringer’s intimate sashimi bar of the same name, which expanded into the former Clio space in 2016. UNI is currently helmed by Executive Chef David Bazirgan.

Best sushi ever. Truly incredible food and ambiance. Highly recommend (I don’t leave reviews often, but this was that good).

We eat hear a couple of times a year and it never disappoints. Best if you can ignore the cost and just sit back and enjoy a world class experience.

Every dish was outstanding. The service was attentive but not hovering & each dish was given with the ingredient highlights. The food came out at a really nice pace so we could enjoy each. It was expensive but worth it.

Good sushi but not worth the high prices they charge. I found most of the dishes underwhelming. We ordered from the a la carte menu. Several dishes were very good (tuna with fois gras), while most were just average. Disappointing.

Too noisy1. With inappropriate booming base in recorded music. Not very Japanese! And definitely not pleasant! Tables too close together! Food was excellent! Our server was very attentive and helpful in making in selections. Inappropriate charge for “kitchen” added to bill.

Food was very salty (specially the lobster ramen) and the price they charge is way too high for the quality they serve.
