Located on the waterfront in bustling Camana Bay, Union offers Cayman's finest selection of fresh fish and seafood, Angus steaks, grill classics, as well as a dedicated vegan menu. Union is a classic, lively bistro with a sophisticated flair. We source the finest quality Angus from the USA and grass-fed Angus cuts from New Zealand, as well as local line-caught snapper, tuna, wahoo and lobster.

Union is proud to announce that it won 'Best Restaurant' in The Cayman Islands at the 2022 Travel & Hospitality Awards in London, and has been nominated for 'Best Restaurant' in the 2024 World Culinary Awards.

Union also runs regular music nights with live jazz (Thurs), soul & blues (Sat and Sun), as well as our famous Cocktail Masterclass (Thurs/Fri/Sat).

Forgot to bring out multiple items during our meal. Waiter did not bring out any food or drinks. Manager was very attentive and personable and visited our table on numerous occasions.

Thanks for the feedback, and we appreciate the 5 stars for food quality and ambiance. We should apologize if some sides were late arriving to the table. We will check on that. Just to point out that at Union it is the bussers who bring out food and drink to the table, not the waiters.

The publis menu had a vegan option but when we got there there was none.

Dear Anonymous, Thanks for the feedback. We are a little confused as we served a number of vegan and vegetarian options on the night you dined. The plant-based menu was available. We always recommend that diners request to see the vegan menu, as it is not included in the main dinner menu. Diners should also always make a special note of their dietary requirements on the OpenTable app in advance of arriving at the restaurant.

This Christmas afternoon meal will be one of my all time favorites. Union Bar and Grill is now my favorite restaurant in GC. My family and I had a day to remember. Outstanding!!

The food was hit or miss. The lobster cocktail was not good and my wedge salad had no flavor in the dressing. My steak was tender and well prepared but that was it. The creme brulee dessert had not even set and was served too early, and our coffees arrived 15 minutes after our desserts were served.

We are glad you enjoyed the steak. Having spoken with your server on the day, your comments seem at odds with the positive feedback you and your family gave at the time. Let me deal with the coffee issue first. Your dessert order was taken at 1.10pm, and the coffee order at 1.20pm, hence the reason why they came after your desserts. You did not request the two to come together. We don't quite know what you mean about the dessert coming 'too early' - it arrived 10 minutes after you ordered it which is normal. Regarding the lobster we'd love to know exactly what the issue was. The wedge dressing was tasted by the owner and no taste problem found. The creme brulee is a French-style just-set custard, and we have been serving these correctly for many years without any reported problems.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Union, for the third time and it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making every bite a delight. The presentation was beautiful, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were always full. To top it off, the dessert options were heavenly! I highly recommend trying the creme brûlée as it was the perfect end to our meal. Overall, Union is a gem worth visiting. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings

Everything was amazing. We sat outside and it was a gorgeous evening with a beautiful view of the huge Christmas tree. Everything we ordered was incredible and so very flavorful . The chef is extremely talented and creative. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she made the night perfect.

OUTSTANDING service and EXCELLENT food! Wow, what a great experience. The drinks were OUT OF THIS WORLD 😋 delicious too! My group of 6 highly recommend this restaurant!

Portion sizes were very small for the price. The chicken dish was a little dry and the scallop risotto had a very strange taste. Everyone was really lovely and the location was great!

We value your feedback, and will always look at our portion sizes if remarked upon by diners. We don't currently have any on-going issues on the chicken or risotto portion size, in fact many diners struggle to finish the risotto sometimes. The chicken dish has a full sized chicken breast, along with a good-sized potato Dauphinoise and abundant mushroom Marsala sauce. Taste is often a very personal attribute, so regrettably we cannot comment on the meaning of 'strange'.
