Across from the ocean, this elegant dining room serves classic American food with a special touch. Union Park Dining Room received New Jersey Monthly Magazine 2005 thru 2018 Critics Choice Award as one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. Working his magic behind the scenes, chef John Schatz has overseen the kitchens of some sophisticated eateries in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, including the former Maureen's in Cape May.                                                                       When the waitress first came to the table she said we are out of 2 entrees and no Caesar salad. I asked if there was any other salad, she said no. I said how about soup. No soup. She said that it was there last night opened for the season so they were out of a lot. I got the filet. When it came it was very small so I asked the waitress about that and she said that they are 6 ounce. I’m sorry but that’s a small filet not saying it on the menu. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

                                                                      Our server Liz was the best we’ve had in a long time. Everything you want when you go out for a nice dinner. We will definitely go back in 2025.

                                                                      We've been dining at Union Park for decades. We love everything about it. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and, especially if you're staying at the Macomber, the location can't be beat. The manager, Bob, is very flexible. If he can accommodate your request, he will.

                                                                      amazing dinner! Friendly staff, and extremely flavorful foods. we got a fillet and an elk dish with the bread and Caesar salad appetizer. everything was delicious!

                                                                      My husband and I had a nice dinner at Union Park about a year ago and decided to dine there again. Unfortunately, our second time there was not as good. We got 3 appetizers to share and 2 entrees. The Foie Gras was the only good item from the menu. The short rib was very bland and the green beens were undercooked. The wine is not good, so definitely bring your own.
