   The service was absolutely abysmal. We didn’t receive silverware or water even after our server came to the table the first time. My daughter didn’t get water in a child’s cup until we asked twice. Tables next to us were not being bussed and were left dirty the entire time we were there. Our waiter didn’t take our menus after we ordered and told us to just “leave em there”. As much of an awful experience we had, the food was good. The tacos were great and so was the salsa, queso, and guacamole. Everything tasted great. However, the service makes the experience and we will not be back anytime soon.

   This is our first visit. We made a reservation for 6:30 pm and we’re promptly seated. We requested a high top but did not get it. However, it took 10 minutes to be greeted and an additional 15 minutes before we got our drinks. There were lots of open tables. Most the open tables were dirty and stayed that way for the majority of our visit. The servers were polite, but joked about how long it took us to get everything. We didn’t really think it was funny. The empanada had good flavor, but the crust was overdone. The Elote cakes were extremely heavily breaded. But once we got through the overly crispy outside, the inside was tasty. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they don’t have unsweet tea. Kind of strange.

   Feliz Cinco de Mayo! We have never had a bad meal at Union. Their margaritas are delicious, and have lots of different taco options not usually found in other taquerias (like Korean bulgogi tacos). Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

   Our server is was fantastic! Food was great and the staff was very helpful and accommodating to my mom’s 70th birthday!

   I took my family out for an Easter Sunday dinner. The hostess was kind and sat us immediately, before taking our drink orders. The menu was well-organized and had a good selection of entrees without feeling too overcrowded. My mother had an allergy, which the manager took very seriously, bringing out the recipe book to review with her, ensuring none of the meals contained her allergen. The meals’ presentation was great and the taste was phenomenal. We all enjoyed the experience and I sincerely appreciated the staff’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of service. We will definitely be back again soon.

   I absolutely love Union Tacos. I love that they made a home in Chesapeake. It is my go to spot for something delicious to eat at any time. My fave menu items are: Starters - Carne Asada Fries, Chicken Empanadas, Thai Cauliflower, Birria Nachos. Tacos - Chicken Club Taco, Blackened Mahi Taco, Classic Chorizo Taco. I also think they have a really good House Margarita. I also tend to go for the margarita of the moment but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the margaritas. I was so excited I got to try their Easter brunch menu. I got the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Empanada, which was delicious. We could have kept those coming. I got to try the Fried Egg Taco. The pickled onion and the chimichurri sauce combination was chefs kiss. I also tried the other two breakfast tacos. The Classic Breakfast Taco and the Migas Tacos and they were both tasty. The Easter Margarita was also great. I hope their brunch offering makes a return. Okay. I'm done talking now lol. We need more amazing places to eat like Union Tacos in Chesapeake.

   Daniel, the GM and Loretta our server were really the stars of the show. Their personalities and customer service was amazing. The food was made with love, it wasn’t too filling and you could tell it was all made fresh. I can’t wait to come back with my boys. Keep doing what you’re doing. I pray many blessings and joy to you all.

   From the moment we walked into Union taco, we felt right at home. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and the food was phenomenal. The waitress even suggested that we could do a combo with different tacos so it was nice to have that option so we could try a variety. The smoky salsa is over the top delicious! Service was fast and the tacos were stuffed! The general manager, Daniel is an amazing guy and he came around and visited every single table while we were there. What an incredible level of customer service. We can’t wait to go back!

    Really enjoy this place. Very unique tacos! First time for Happy Hour and will definitely be back!! Started out with the Queso Fundido and the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the for our tacos we went with the Prito Hipon and the Shrimp Po boy. Of course with the Happy Hour Margs!!
